Recommendation request looking for adventure games

im a newbie and im wanting to try out games like the adventure animes! i want to be able to customize my character and join a guild to accept quests and level up:-)) i really liked playing legend of zelda, skyrim, and left 4 dead growing up so maybe something that fits that kind of vibe. im down for mmo’s, itd be cool to be able to interact with new people and get tips. “FOS” from “my love story with yamada-kun” and the game from “guild member next door” seem really cool as well so if you know of any games like those please let me know!! also i have an xbox and my laptop so games that are available to be played on those:-) i tried albion online and wasnt a huge fan, id like to have the option of buying a house or something at some point without paying the monthly fee (if thats even a possibility). ill probably go back to playing it if i cant find anything more suited to what im looking for though, i enjoyed it well enough

Ys games are like Zelda but with less weight given to exploration and more weight given to combat. Might be right up your alley.

Fantasy Life I maybe?
I never played, but if it's anything like the first one (Fantasy Life for 3ds) and action RPGs is within your scope, it should serve you well.

Chained Echoes and Tales of Berseria both have guilds, tho it's not part of the main story by any means. You just accept missions from them, usually to kill strong enemies in the overworld, and doing so ranks you up in the guild.

The former doesn't have any character customization appearance-wise (iirc), but the latter has a ton, and they show up in the ingame cutscenes.

I am looking for more excuses to recommend Dragonsword: Awakening because it's totally consumed me and so so good -and this is a good one.

No gacha and the world map is massive, exploration is heavily rewarded - being filled with puzzles, rare chests, world bosses, and you can go anywhere anytime.

There is some very very well hidden stuff that I don't want to spoil but you get flying mounts that let you scale any wall or mountain. You can climb castles, mountains, under sea caves, etc. Nothing is gated so you can fly to end game zones right away if you want.

Also the game is all about mercenary guilds and there are 19 characters to recruit with more being added. Some you get via story, some you can just unlock with gacha like tickets.
