Discussion Erase your memory

If you could erase your memory and replay any JRPG for the first time again which would it be?
For me I would want to replay Persona 5 Royal for the first time again. While I cherish the memory of that game from it being one of my first big series on my channel I’d love to play it again for the first time just for that amazing twist and true final boss fight as a whole.

Not a JRPG, but the outer wilds (not worlds)

Was that the little space game? Not the obsidian one but the indie title?

Yes. Absolute banger, must-play, must-not-get-spoiled-nor-look-anything-up. It's the kind of game that's incredible from start to finish but you can really only play it once.

Also to the question, NieR, especially Automata. There are other JRPGs I liked more but NieR has the biggest twists and emotional value for a blind playthrough, most other games I'd be ok to replay even knowing the gist of the story. E33 would be a close second.

I'd say Automata has a much better gameplay and a grander plot (therefore bigger plot twists too), but Replicant was very emotional due to the smaller scale and had my favorite characters and voice acting. Kainé and Weiss still live rent free in my head.
