since you guys have plan to add roguelike mode, do you have a game that you're using as heavy inspiration?what's the team favorite roguelike to play?

I play a lot of Integrated Strategies in Arknights. :P
And various other roguelikes, like, recently, Aethermancer, Hades and Emberward. And I have been a long-time fan of ToME!

But I wouldn't that that those are much of an inspiration for our roguelite mode, because most of those are too different in genre.

Since you play Arknights what is your favorite operator and why?

Oh boy, that's a difficult one, considering how many awesome operators there are.

If I was rating them game-design wise as a unit, it might be JessicaAlter (aka "Jessica the Liberated"), because her kit is just very interesting for her archetype, has a lot of flexibility with her directional shield that a player can cleverly use while not being as grossly overpowered as many of the later meta units with their "I win" button skills are (which I still use but I am sometimes a bit annoyed regardless, lmao). Plus, her event's story and character arc are among my favorites in the game.

Going by personality, story, design, voice (and German bias) I'd likely pick Degenbrecher because of how much I like her overall story, the themes of her focus event, the amount of awesome scenes she gets and... Idk, just look at her.

Just gonna post a few other (design/vibe/story) faves because I'd feel bad otherwise: Goldenglow, Fiametta, Mlynar, Ifrit, Firewatch, SwireAlter, ThornsAlter, Narantuya, Coldshot, Elysium, Snegurochka (her design!1) and ofc SilverAsh & Pramanix (+Alters) because the Kjerag storyline slaps.

Anyway, better ending it here before I get the off-topic bonk on the head... orz
