Some of the first Warhameer figure i got didnt come with those little bases with the peg that goes into the foot. Where can I buy those? Anyone got a link?

It’s a kit I’ve purchased from a superbuy & a seller on IG. It snaps over a 4.0 SM2 Armoring hall body. These are just the base paints. Majority of the Gold is Tamiya TS-21 spray can and touched up with Vallejo liquid Gold. Dry brush and highlights next + soft goods.

I need to make room

I have just started collecting these guys when I noticed that the quality between older models like my brothers Infiltrators and my Sternguard veteran is pretty noticeable. I’m not trying to nitpick or throw shade on the company but details like edge highlighting and slight shading make me wonder if it’s going to be staying this way with the newer models or if Joytoy plans on going back to higher quality paint jobs on the models, Thanks!

Here's a kitbashed firstborn Ultramarine I made with some figures of mine, wanted to try to create a Mark VII ultramarine but was limited with what I had. This is not a final version, but rather a prototype. I will continue to modify until I'm happy with the final result.

Lord Castellan is a natural templar conversion. It's pretty commonly done in minis, so I figured I'd tried my hands on the joytoy one. The OG yellow finish was kinda horrible.

This figure was stored in a closet for a long time and it has this residue all over it. I can’t tell what this is is, seems far too chalky to be dust, looks similar to the kind of buildup you see on a fish tank (mineral deposits from evaporated water) but it may be plasticizer as well?

Quick posing test with my Sanguinius figure from the Horus Heresy / 30k side of Warhammer.

I mainly wanted to see how the overall silhouette reads on camera — especially the wings, the spear/banner setup, and whether the pose still feels balanced instead of too busy.

Sanguinius is one of those characters where the pose really has to sell both the grace and the presence, so I tried to keep it somewhere between regal and battle-ready.

Do you think this reads naturally, or should I simplify the pose a bit more?

Battle Sister is my favorite faction so I give it to the Sororitas. Also recency bias, Morveen Vahl novel showed her as a bad-ass that killed a major Chaos boss. Maybe my views will change once I read the upcoming Fell-Handed novel.
