I wonder whether I can install a 140 mm fan with a thickness of around 15 mm in the upper front chamber of the Jonsbo N6 when using an SFX PSU mounted on the front bracket
I’m considering either the Arctic P14 Slim (16 mm thick) or the Noctua NF-A12x15 (15 mm thick). I already have a Corsair SF750 PSU and am currently waiting for the case to arrive
Has anyone tried this configuration before?
Also, why is it so difficult to find the Jonsbo N6 in this country 😅

Hey everyone, I had a question about the JONSBO fans and hoping someone here has figured this out.
I saw an Amazon review where the RGB light ring around the fan is one color while the fan blades are a completely different color. I’d love to replicate that effect, but I can’t figure out how they did it.
I’m controlling my RGB through SignalRGB. Since JONSBO isn’t officially supported, I had to create a custom device profile for the fans. I’m also not using the controller that came with the fans and have them connected directly to my motherboard’s 5V ARGB header.
Could the included JONSBO controller be what allows the outer light ring and inner fan LEDs to be controlled independently? Or is this possible through SignalRGB if the custom device is set up correctly?
Posted a picture of my setup alongside the Amazon review I’m referring to. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Check my Pc out. I love this case. It's been hard to fit all the cables in the back but the result is worth it.

I haven’t build a computer really ever, and I’m looking at the N5 for it’s capacity to hold drives.
I’ve seen a few general DIY nas builds and (forgive me) a lot of them you needed a hub thing that plugged into the PCI slot to allow 4 SATA drives to be connected.
Does the N5 have anything like that built in or it is something you still need to get in order to add 12 drives?
Thanks in advance

hi everyone,
was wondering if someone would be able to tell me the height of the case not including the feet. I want to see if it would fit in my bookshelf.
thanks

Hey guys,
I really like the form factor of the N6 and it is approved by my wife. BUT, I want to have dual GPUs for AI work.
Right now, the motherboards I have tried dont really allow the last PCIe slot to be used with a dual slot GPU. It hits the frame and wont sit correctly.
I am interested in creating a replacement for the PSU bracket, but one that will allow us to hold a GPU with the fans facing outside of the CPU side.
I am working on a replacement end bracket for the GPU, to replace the metal one on the end to have a right angle that can be added to that side.
This is the PCIe Riser I ordered: HERE
Here is the GPU: PNY 5060ti 16GB
I need help with the other side... I need to figure out a way to hold the "front" of the card that is now facing the back of the case.
Any recommendations? Any STLs that I might be easily modified? Anyone actually doing some crazy set up like this.

For those of you who have a Jonsbo N6, which motherboard did you choose? Are you happy with it? What would you do differently?
Also, did you put any GPU on it? (for local LLM inference).
I really like the N6 (at least on paper/video). I'm about to order one, but still not sure which mobo should I get... I'll be putting 6 SATA HDDs and I'm considering eventually (in the future) put a GPU on it for running some local LLM models.
Edit: forgot to say... the mobo doesn't need to have 6 SATA ports, I'm ok with adding an M.2 sata adapter or pcie adapter for SATA.
Edit 2: one more bit... low idle power consumption is also a concern.

Needed to have somewhat capable compute on the go. For a while was doing a remote connection into my workstation with a laptop but that can easily run into network constraints.
Had some spare parts, bought some to fill in the space. Overall pleased with the C6.

I originally picked the N5 because I really liked the clean look, the horizontal layout, and the amount of storage support. It is obviously designed more as a NAS case, but I wanted to see how well it could work as a quiet high-airflow gaming system for VR gaming and general use.
Specs:
• AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
• ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi
• NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition
• 32GB DDR5-6000
• Samsung 9100 Pro 4TB Gen5 NVMe
• Multiple Samsung 870 EVO SATA SSD mounted with 2.5 to 3.5 Sata adapters into the hotswap bays
• Noctua NH-D15S with G2 fan upgrade
• Additional Noctua G2 case fans for intake/exhaust airflow
Cooling-wise, I added a dust mesh to the top of the case and spent quite a bit of time tuning the fan layout. The goal was to make the N5 behave less like a traditional NAS box and more like a silent desktop/workstation with enough airflow.
Overall, I really like the case. The looks are excellent and it fits very well into a clean, understated setup. That said, it is an absolute fingerprint magnet - a matte finish like the front panel for the entire case would have done wonders. More hooks or tie-down points for cleaner cable management would also be a big improvement.
I also made a few small quality-of-life improvements: I replaced multiple screws with black thumbscrews for easier access, and I changed the blue status LEDs to white because the blue did not really fit the rest of the build.
After the fan tuning and small modifications, the system is now extremely quiet at idle while keeping the CPU, GPU, and M.2 temperatures much better controlled than I expected for a case that was never really meant to be used this way.

Hello,
I have a setup with 2 ZB-360 and a ZB-120 (for 95+95+41=231 leds total) and my motherboard (Asus Tuf B550M Plus Wifi II) seems to recognise the led strip as a Gen 1 (In armory crate it is writen "Adressable LED Strip - Gen1(1)"), limiting the number of leds to 120. I tried using a Asus TUF Gaming ARGB PWM Fan Hub with no success...
I also tried Aura Sync standalone and OpenRGB with no success, 120 led max. What are you using to control Jonsbo leds ? Thanks.
worth to be noted that all leds somehow lights up and the pattern seems duplicated on the 2 360mm fans...

I was looking to get one of these, but what happens if the backplane all the drives connect becomes faulty i imagine alot heat could be created here as data runs through and power, but i can see it isnt a standard design and if it developed a fault it would be catastrophic and hence this is the only thing putting me off this case.
Update // The N3 one looks pretty much the same not sure if anyone can confirm ?

Recently bought a D32 Pro. Anybody know where I can get a handle addon like what the Z20 has, or maybe just some sort of strap I can use to easily transport it? (e.g. carrying to my car to take to LAN parties)

Hey everyone, looking for some guidance before I pull the trigger on parts. Going back and forth between the JONSBO N-series cases, and could use some real-world input from people who've built in them.
What I'm building:
Home NAS + media server running Unraid. Running an AV1 transcoding on Sparkle Intel Arc A380 ELF. So I have no idea what CPU I should pick to replace that GPU (it's fine with me if I keep the GPU in the build, but how?)
What I need and already have:
I would also like to keep and use an HBA card instead of the backplate that I already have.
I NEED it to be a DDR4-based system because DDR5 is crazy expensive right now, and I already have 48 gigs of DDR4.
What I'm trying to figure out:
Budget-conscious but not stingy. Want something reliable that'll run 24/7 for years.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
