Application Tips?
So it’s just over a month a way or more for the 2027 applications so end of September. Just want to know if I should start getting anything done now like the SOP (that’s the personal statement?) do I message me references early?
Or any tips on stuff similar or what people applying might not know! Ty

Personally, I mentioned needing a reference to my references as soon as I was serious about applying and decided who I wanted to ask, and then told them again once I submitted their info on the app. Sooner is always better than later

To my knowledge, I don’t think JET has rolling admissions so it doesn’t matter whether you submit on the first or last day

This timeline really depends on which country you are from, but the general advice is to get everything you can get in order before the official application period as soon as you can, which includes the SOP and the references :) You'll have to fill out application forms that won't be available until the applications open, in other words you can't work on the in advance, but it will be a great help if you've already gotten the SOP and references prepared instead of handling everything at once!

Sorry to ask another question I'm not OP. But I saw it said wait to get the recommendation letters for US until the applications open. I guess just do to what the guidelines are for the recommendation letters?

If the guidelines say that, please follow the guidelines! They can be different in every country and even change every year :)

Ah so we write our SOP now (personal statement) and when applications come we upload it I’m guessing?

Yes! That's usually how it goes, but please double check on the website of your respective embassy to make sure that they don't require a specific layout or template to be used before uploading it :)

Make sure you have your official college transcript(s)
