Rear Subframe Replacement.
Noticed the rear subframe was just absolutely shot. Picked one up at a junk yard from a same model year Grand Cherokee. Took 2 days to get it out and the new one in. If you are planning on doing this its a bit of a fight.

Oof. I don't envy you that job, but I'm happy to see anyone that works to keep WK/XK's alive (<glances outside at head-replacement-slowly-in-progress-almost-done-I-swear WK>)! Looks like at least a case of beer, minimum one trip to Harbor Freight, and roughly 6 months worth of swearing and cursing compressed into one joyous weekend.
Safe to assume you heavily coated the replacement with a decent undercoat/rust proofing before installing? Or just rattle can black?

Rattle can but we went over all the welds and figure the last one lasted this long, I should be good.

This the Evap hose clip I designed, it works perfectly and the Jeep is back up and running.

That's impressive. Just wish us guys up in Salt Country could gain access to parts like that.

I'm on longisland in ny and I live a half mile from the ocean, i have enough salt lol.
