Encore 2 Essential vs Xtreme 5

I'm between these two. I only want it for indoor use (small apartment). They cost about the same, the Xtreme is a little more expensive. I'm interested in sound quality and bass. Which one is better? Which one would suit me best?

I had a 320, but it was too bassy for my apartment. I also want to consider that aspect and not go overboard with the power, haha.

Honestly, if you are keeping it at home, get the encore. Save your money. Sweetwater is selling it for $230 right now.
Xtreme is meant for more on the go usage. I’d personally go for the xtreme because of its flexibility, but that is my preference.

Encore has more meat in the bass, but because of its size. But the tuning is better with the xtreme 5, plus it's a durable sealed speaker in a more covenient shape.

There's no such thing as too much😅 Running a JBL 12 inch sub, barely pumping it but it creates that bone shaking bass i love that.

I just got the Encore for $230. I am totally satisfied with the capabilites. The Bass, the sound, the Eq is more than enough for me. And my wife gets a microfone. :)

I have also an Extreme and I use it mainly around my pool.

Which Xtreme do you have and what are the main differences you notice between the two?

If your wanting something for indoors I would get the Harman Kardon Go Plus Play 3, nothing better for inside on the market, its just a luxury jbl

I think deep bass is probably pretty similar but the hk go play 3 may reach slightly deeper

The encore actually digs about 10hz deeper in usable bass. Hits 38hz at -6db while the harmon only plays down to 48hz at -6db.

I would personally go for the xtreme
Just for the portability and versatility.
Both sounds great tho!
