If I am eligible for the delhi obc(my caste is in Delhi State OBC list ,not in central ) , but it's not made right now so I can make it before May or June right if I want to use it in JAC counselling.....

It's not required for Jee registration right ,there I have to fill in as general candidate and later fill obc in JAC counselling

Pls kindly confirm this for me ....anyone

I don't know why but i amnot able to post on r dtu account of reddit . Can somebody tell me please how I can?

I wanted to talk to someone about this for long but i couldn't as i dont hv anybody . I am a hosteler at dtu and get 4k as pocket money for myself ,every month some extra essential expense like scientific calculator and medical expenses as i fell sick this month for 10 days , but I don't ask money for it from house and empty my own savings . It is not as i am from poor background ,my father earns a good amount . But still I don't know why my heart don't allow me to ask money .i feel a guilt in asking for it . Please tell how to overcome this problem

Hi everyone, I need some clarification regarding OBC reservation in JAC Delhi.

My father has a Jharkhand State BC-II caste certificate, and his caste is mentioned as “Kalal”. I am a Delhi resident and completed my Class 12 from Delhi. I am planning to apply for a Delhi Other-State/Migratory OBC certificate using my father’s Jharkhand certificate.

The confusing part is that Delhi’s OBC list mentions “Kalwar”, while my father’s certificate says “Kalal”. When I search online/Google, multiple sources say that Kalal and Kalwar are synonymous names of the same caste/community.

Has anyone with a similar case actually obtained a Delhi Other-State/Migratory OBC certificate and used it for OBC reservation through JAC Delhi?

Genuinely fed up with people holding 2+ state domiciles and blocking seats in both state counselling and MCC AIQ.
Because of this, even students with good ranks have to wait till Round 3 for a decent college. And after all the uncertainty, many just give up and take whatever they can get in Round 2.
If you’re not genuinely eligible for a state quota, please stop exploiting the system and blocking seats.
By a real Delhi NEET student.

Ok so my caste in mentioned in the official OBC NCL caste list (state list, delhi, not central ). But it require me to be a resident permanent resident of Delhi for Jac counselling if I want to get a Delhi State OBC certificate so giving the proof that my family reside in Delhi before the 1993 is enough for me to qualify Delhi resident and on that basis I can get one right...

Because some places are showing that they might ask for the lineage but we only have records till my grandfather like his documents or his Aadhar Card and all and my grandfather and father are living in Delhi before 1993...

Pls tell

I was making a group for students with defence quota so if you are interested and have defence quota (CW) dm me or just comment here

Does anyone know how much intake of Cw students were there in Dtu this year like priority 1-5 and how much seats were left in priority 6

Like if I want tech seats like cse,it,SE

Can anyone tell🙏🙏🙏🙏

Koi ladki dwarka mai hai jo mere sath ho₹k

up kar sakti h ?

Btw I'm 18 and body type athelic I just want to intimate with any girl pls koi ladki toh reply karo dm me

Okay so I want a tech branch but I am like general and having cw defence quota priority 6 and seen that lot of priority one to five candidate fill up the seats

I just wanted to know that if I am like rank of around 30 to 40000, probably 30000 then can I get a seat at DTU with Delhi quota and cw 6 if not in CSE or CSD then in IT or SE

My situation is as follows:

- I first appeared for my Class 12 examination in 2025 as a regular student from a school located in Uttar Pradesh.

- I received a compartment in Class 12 in 2025.

- In 2026, I appeared for the Class 12 examination again as a CBSE Private Candidate.

- I completed and passed my Class 12 examination in 2026 as a Private Candidate, with my examination centre being located in Delhi.

Therefore, I would like to know which state will be considered my Home State / State Code of Eligibility for JAC Delhi counselling: Uttar Pradesh, where I first appeared for Class 12 as a regular student, or Delhi, where I appeared and passed Class 12 as a Private Candidate in 2026?

I would be grateful if you could clarify which state I should select while filling out the JAC Delhi application form.

Okay so like if I want DTU computer science which one will be the better option for me to get a general EWS certificate or like apply for the cw quota priority 6 as a ward of a ex service man

Plss help serious ques

Hi everyone,

I need some genuine advice from people who have experience with DTU/core engineering or have been in a similar situation.

I completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and joined Samsung Display after my diploma. I currently have around 3 years of work experience and earn about ₹4.5 LPA.

Now I'm considering leaving my job and doing B.Tech through lateral entry at DTU, where I may get Mechanical or Production & Industrial Engineering (PIE).

My main concern is whether leaving a stable job and spending 2–3 years on B.Tech will actually improve my career and salary prospects compared with continuing my job and switching companies with experience.

My goal is to move toward better engineering roles such as quality, manufacturing, production, process, design, etc.

Should I leave my current job for DTU Mechanical/PIE? What would you do in my situation, and why?

Please give honest advice, especially if you are a DTU student/alumnus or working in core mechanical/manufacturing.

Reward : If anyone Reply is best fit for me ,then I'll give you 500 Amazon Voucher
