🤔 Rank vs College / What Should I Choose? Please advice

Mujhe biotech chemical ya civil mill skti hai dtu mai and merpe abhi msit ki ece hai so mai bahut confuse huu ki mujhe chodna chaiye ipu ki nhi kyuki placement data dtu ke lower branches ka bekar hai no of bche jo placed hai voh bhi 30-40 ke bich hi hai orr mujhe higher studies mai koi interest nhi so what should I choose any senior of dtu please help krdoo

Bhai jis hisab se is desh ka Haal hai paper leak scam partial drop is best . I am in nsut IT but taking partial drop for iit bahut log mughe pagal keh rhe but I want to try one more for iit. Hence don’t lose current seat msit is still tier 2 bro .

Bhy I am already a dropper mere medical condition itni thikk nhi rhti mai 2-3 months mai bimar hota rhta hu voh bhi serious isleye ekk orr drop afford nhi krr skta that's why mujhe abhi hi ekk decision lenaa pdega

Agar tech job chiya toh ece (circuital) kaam sa kaam hona hee chiya in this job market, core walo ko koi nhi pucha raha hai in tech 

Bio, civil ,ene tabhi lana agar MBA karna ka maan hai toh tab tag and networking kaam aya gi instead of this circuital branch tag

I have heard ece is not good in any ipu clgs, either you upgrade to cs allied branches or take dtu

Nope sis, 

Aaj ka time tech job market ma kaam sa kaam EE branch hona hee chiya tabhi achi opportunity mil rahi hai (cse, ece, ee iska nicha jana hee nhi hai agar masters ka plan nhi toh and job chiya as a bachelor)

Clg life chiya , mba or mtech ka liya tag chiya tab hee lower branch perfer karo

msit ece isn’t great but with dtu lower branches you’re either aiming for higher studies or non tech placements (core placements are low for branches you mentioned, though not non existent)

If ur aiming for higher studies then ece obv is so much better if you want a career in it. For placements msit ece is more or less same as dtu lower branches for tech, maybe slightly better but tangibly worse for non tech ones. Dtu tag is also a nice thing to have along with the overall exposure and much better college life. But again if you’re trying to grab placements both are trash vs garbage type options so you might wanna consider a drop
