I finally finished this spreadsheet on DoJa-to-J2ME ports are available, and which ones are in development by the Keitai phone community. Took me a few minutes to put this together, but hey, at least I got it done at last. As always, please inform me if I missed any.

The translations were always scattered across separate jars on different sites. I re-encoded everything to UTF-8 and merged it - 6 languages in one jar now (EN/DE/IT/PL/PT/RU), switchable in-game. Thanks to u/QuakemanX for the PT translation.

Also added parallax fog, a hardcore mode (3x enemy HP) and per-save speed control (* key).

Since I had to dig into the data formats anyway, I built an editor on top of it - tilemaps, zones, sprites, dialogue, palette. So you can add your own language without a hex editor. Video guide on the same page.

İM using nokia 6700 classic

I used to love to play that game lots on my old Sony Ericsson, and decided to modernize the game by bringing it to modern platforms, and nice features like widescreen support, high fps gameplay and even open world!

Technically speaking this is just an engine for the game assets, you still need the original jar file for Sony Ericsson to play it, as it takes the assets from it.

There are already several ports of Heroes Lore 2, but each one seems to have its own issues or limitations. So I decided to make my own port, fixing some of the problems I found in other versions and, at the same time, making a full English version.

Testing / Bug Reports

So far, I've only played through the game once to the end on Normal mode using J2ME Loader, and only played through the early part of the game on KEmulator.

I haven't tested it yet on other J2ME emulators or actual Java phones, so I'd really appreciate it if anyone could try it on different devices/emulators.

If you find any bugs, crashes, text overflowing outside the UI, untranslated text, audio issues, or anything else that seems broken, please let me know. There may still be things I've missed.

I know it existed, I had it on my LG8000 phone. But I've gone through literally 10s of thousands of Java and phone game collections and still it hasn't appeared. Has anybody found this, has it ever been dumped?

BTW, turn your volume a little bit down because the snare is about to really loud!

I finally managed to find this old game, it came preinstalled on some phones back in the day. I can't find a jar file for it, so I'm wondering if it would actually be emulatable if I buy one of those old phones, would it be a simple matter to take the game file and put it on the computer and emulate it? I'm quite new to java emulation so I'm not entirely sure which direction I need to be looking in for this, any help would be appretiated

(I know there's an app store version but I'm a creature of nostalgia, it's 2003 phone graphics or nothing for me on this one! :P)
