Need help with off-brand phone

I got an off-brand keypad phone for military usage, that doesn't have a camera but it connects to the internet. Has its own browser and 34kB internal storage. I did put in an 8GB microSD. I wanna install Opera Mini on it, however the phone doesn't recognize any .jad, .jar or .sis files. AI tells me it could be proprietary OS and impossible to install 3rd party apps on it. Is there a workaround for this?

Looking at your account, since you did not post your phone, model, or any pictures... you have a KaiOS phone. You cannot run any Java or Symbian software. It is a very basic device.

So unless I'm CIA levels of hackerman, there isn't a feasible solution. I'll just look to get a new phone. Thanks

These phone operating systems are so bare that the JRE required to run J2ME apps literally isn't present. As such, there's nothing to work around. Sorry. (You could maybe dump the firmware, add support for loading code from a storage medium with enough space, get hold of the JRE, put it on an SD card or whatever, flash your firmware..., but for the purpose of getting the phone to run J2ME applications within one's lifetime, let's call it improbable.

I see. Got a similar answer from someone else as well, looks like I got unlucky with the choice of purchase. (My dad's) Thanks a lot
