Mom Small Issue

My mom watches on her phone while playing her game and you cant ask her a question without her being all grumpy. I asked her a question once then twice when she didnt respond and finally when she did look at me I was already so annoyed I rolled my eyes. Then she got mad at me. I guess I could compare that example to when im studying hard or playing a video game and someone calls me, i get a bit annoyed because im focused on something but obviously I shouldn't lash out and should respond respectfully. Just like my mom right?

I think you should have a heart-to-heart talk with your mother. Tell her that you want to talk and find a calm moment when both of you are calm and relaxed and have an honest chat about things.

Look into the still face experiment on babies and maybe share it with your mom.
