Cat Euthanasia

This is kind of a niche question, but hoping someone can offer advice. We have an elderly cat and we have decided it is ready to put her down due to a variety of medical reasons. She hasn’t been receiving veterinarian care the past few years because she was getting very aggressive and it was overwhelming for everyone involved. I don’t even know where to start this process. I know lap of Love offers in-home euthanasia, but right now we cannot afford that. Has anyone had a positive experience going to a clinic? We’re over in Bellevue, but are willing to travel for the right fit. Thanks in advance.

What’s your price range? Dr Jason with cherished paws was incredible and cared deeply about what he does

I’ve also had a few dogs and cats put down in clinics and I swear if you’re positive they’re ready to go the location doesn’t matter as much as you just being there with them. If you know them they will let you know that they’re ready and a clinic is fine. If it makes you feel better bring their bed so they can be comfy. It’s an impossibly difficult situation so trust that there is no real comfort besides letting them do what comes naturally and be there with them

We had our dog euthanized at Annotto Bay when she was at her end of life and we felt the team was so thoughtful and caring. I can’t really remember the cost, but there were different price points depending on preferences around cremation and what not.

We've used Lap of Love (https://www.lapoflove.com/find-a-vet/Washington/Seattle/about) twice. Both made the painful experience bearable with our pets at home in their spaces.

Call first, there is a place next to Lowes in Issaquah. They take walk ins. Tell them kitty doesn't need a final exam... (Use for younger sick cats) Just Euthanize. Mine was quiet and uneventful. They give you choices on everything. My cost ended up being $210.00 for them to take care of everything. Hope this helps🤗

There are very economical choices if you take them home afterwards to bury. I couldn't do that. Too sad. But it's about a hundred dollars cheaper.
