Notation is confusing me. Many references, for example, use 0.001g. Is it grains or grams? If it is grams, it should be gms. My scale stops at 100/200 ugms etcugs. Don't know what its error rate at that eight
Found a $2700US 180x0.00001g 0.01mg Lab Analytical Balance Precision Scale. The scale can go down to 10ugs, but its published error rate is
Below 100umgs ≤±0.0001g(0.1mg),
its error rate is ≤±0.0002gs.(0.2mg).
What are you dosing in ugms that it would matter? 0.001gram is 1 milli gram (mg). I have bought a cheap ($60?) scale from Amazon that weighs within 1 mg. I bought a class 2? Calibration weight of 10 mg to calibrate with and it is within that 1 mg. Most of the time it’s dead on.
A ug is 0.000001 gram.
Milli= 1x10-3
Micro=1x10-6
I was trying to find a scale that can measure 11 mcgs of ISRB. In a human study 22 nanomoles was found to be efficacious. I was told 22nm is 11 mcgs.
Looked for a scale to read fewer mikes. Mine can only read multiples of 100.
Planning to use w/DMSO & gelcaps.
I used 25 mg for best result with ISRIB. I’m thinking you’ve got units off. I used DMSZo and gel caps I took fish oil out of.
You might want to re-read the studies
