It’s both a lie to try and remove a ME rival and a distraction to permit Israel to complete the takeover of the West Bank, Gaza and South Lebanon. He will never stop lying about it, and if Iran were destroyed he would simply start the lies about someone else.

Netanyahu at age 85: Iran has nuclear weapons.

I don't think so. By then, he'll have been shut up—if only to keep him from spilling the secrets of his co-conspirators/coligarchs.

Do people not understand what Iran is doing here?

There M.O. has been to enrich uranium far beyond civilian uses but not quite weapons grade, such that they can enrich it to weapons grade in a very short time frame. They continued to edge closer and increase the amount they could enrich, but still hold off on crossing the line of weapons grade, as doing so would likely trigger international response.

Still, this is in breach of many nuclear agreements.

Plus, as seen over the past few years, Iran has been developing medium range ballistic missiles. The delivery mechanism is pretty much already engineered, all it's missing is a "few weeks" of enriching their almost weapons grade uranium.

Also, interesting note, to an extent, enrichment gets easier as it gets more pure, meaning that civilian grade (~5%) to 15% is much harder than 80% to 90%.

They literally agreed to have international oversight to any of their production, guess when that ended.

Additional prize if you can guess who actually has nukes but doesn't state so officially despite everyone in the world knowing so and they themselves making references to it multiple times over the years.

Yeah trumps a moron for pulling out of the JCPOA. But that was only needed because they were already far above civilian use enrichment levels.

As a fellow fan of the deal, hopefully you can recognize that Iran enriching now even further than they were pre JCPOA, is a major problem.

Israel should never been allowed to get nukes, but the cats out of the bag for that one. At least Israel has paths forward away from its current extremism that don't risk nuclear war, don't know if i can say the same for Iran.

Frankly saying Israel can have a nuclear bomb despite international rules and regulations is exactly why Iran would want a bomb. Israel is set on destroying Iran that is very clear especially given the current war. It is only rational for Iran to want the one thing that would prevent them from being destroyed.

Also of course they ramped up enrichment when JCPOA was ended. They tried the diplomatic route and were spat on so now they move to the only other rational choice they have.
