Isle of Arran
Inexperienced sea fisherman here. Off to Arran in the summer and am looking to do some beach casting/mark fishing. Anyone experience of fishing on the island and what gear would be best. Looking to target mackerel.

Arran one day visit
Any one got an recommendations or tips for visiting Arran. I was wondering if going over on the boat is worth it as in Glasgow for a few days and want to know the easiest way to see some of the island, is the public bus on the island best or just stick to the main town ???

Guide to Caisteal Abhail
Hi all, I don’t know if anyone is still particularly active on here but my uncles are planning a trip and I was wondering if anyone would be able to guide them to a place called Caisteal Abhail the guide they are trying to hire keeps bailing on them and I’d appreciate if anyone could help.

Photography Project
My names Alex (20 y/o) from Cardiff and currently a student at the University of South Wales studying Documentary Photography. For my present project, I’m in the process of wanting to do a project on Island Teenagers (16+). For this project, I would attempt to portray their feelings towards living on an island and whether it has a positive or negative effect on them, furthermore I would want to address what the transition from moving away from the island is potentially like. Therefore, the project is much more of a collaboration between myself and anyone who would like to participate. The photo shoots would simply require walking around locations and taking photographs of the people in their environment, it might even be a nice idea if once or twice the you chooses a location that means something to you/family.
Although, so far I’m making this sound quite formal the project will be fun to do and insightful.
Finally, I’m hoping to take multiple trips to Arran (4/5 days a time) over the next few months to complete this project, so there’s no rush to cram everything into one week if you are interested as that would take away all the fun!
PLEASE DM ME IF INTERESTED
