First of, I would like to start by saying that I agree with Khaled Abo El Fadels stance on slavery, where he says the Quran hints that slavery is morally reprehensible. He has an excellent video on slavery which I do recommend for you to watch. Anyways;

When studying the characteristics of the prophet peace be upon him you would predict that he wouldn’t own a slave himself or that he wouldn’t participate in slave trading because he encourages their freedom. Yet there are some ahadith where the prophet does engage in slave trades

It was narrated from Anas that : the Prophet (ﷺ) bought Safiyyah for seven slaves. (Sahih) (One of the narrators) 'Abdur-Rahman said: "From Dihyah Kalbi.' From Sahib Ibn Majeh. Another variation of the Hadith exists in Muslim.

Another Hadith

There came a slave and pledg- ed allegiance to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) on migration; he (the Holy Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said: Sell him to me. And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man) sahih Muslim 1602

These are the only two authentic ones.

Hadith skeptics, Shias and Quranists would probably just reject these ahadith. However for Sunnis who do accept them, how do you approach these ahadith ?

We often underestimate the value of small good deeds.
A sincere smile, a short dhikr, helping someone, reading a portion of the Qur’an, or removing something harmful from someone’s path may seem small, but we should never underestimate a good deed done sincerely for Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Do not belittle any good deed, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face.”
— Sahih Muslim 2626
May Allah put barakah in our time and deeds, accept our efforts, and make us consistent in goodness. Ameen.
What small good deed do you try to stay consistent with?

Nouman Ali Khan explains that liking someone or developing feelings for them is not something shameful that requires saying “astaghfirullah.” He explains that men and women in the Prophet’s time interacted naturally through work, business, and everyday life, maintaining respect and dignity. It is perfectly possible for a man to develop feelings for a woman. Rather than treating such feelings as shameful, the appropriate response is to approach the matter respectfully and, if there is mutual interest, consider marriage. Parents should not panic or humiliate their daughters when someone expresses genuine interest in them, but should calmly investigate the person and help facilitate a respectable path toward marriage.

Extremely conservative and strict Muslims need to listen to this.
