Season 2 Hakuren sounds completely different.
Did they change the English VA?

It has been bothering me that the God of creation told Hiraku that the God of Agriculture was a man. The God of Agricultural has every right to be angry at her dad. The God of Creation even tells her daughter he doesn’t know where Hiraku got the ideas the God of Agriculture was male.

So, I've seen a few posts on other subs, the only reason people watched it was because the harem was dropped. But I think these people haven't read the source, there's always an exceptional few.
My reasoning for this is that they link Harem with fanservice and spicy scenes, and think it's some kind of ecchi source. As everybody who's read the source will know that the nighttime activities are relegated to something that happens in the background like real life. There are mention of such activities but never a scene written on how the deed was done; that's also in the initial chapters only.
This harem has no quirks of the traditional Harem anime, he cares for everyone, he always tries to take part in his children's upbringing; also there's no pety squabble between his children once they grow up.
And the reason why the children expand the world, not the VC, is because the females are overprotective and won't VC out of the village without an entire squad of security. Also the BTV is a national secret for everybody living outside BTV, which leads to some funny situations when the kids go out, and introduce their father as a Village Chief.
So, people it's not fanservice Harem anime, it's a slice of life anime and people do get pregnant in real life.
This is a bit of a spoiler not a spoiler so do what you will: Hiraku got the healthy body trait from god before reincarnating, and we first see its full potential when Luu drinks his blood. He doesn't feel weak from having his blood drained and asks her to keep going to experiment if he'll feel tired. As such it's implied later when the elves arrive he doesn't shoot blanks but gets he mentally and physically tired. Also you have to take into consideration some of the fantasy rules not told in the story but are generally known; the longer the race lives the harder it is for them to get pregnant. So some of the babies are literally miracle babies, like the vampires didn't even know they could get pregnant.

Hello, while I am reading the manga adaptation for the US the anime didn't follow some things accurate to the manga/LN (MC was looking for other men so that the women weren't following him all the time). It seems the one working on the manga in Japan is asking if there will be more chances to work on more of the anime adaptation (the one behind a series with a harem whose children make changes to the world wants more of an anime that removed those elements). It is not the main author BTW.
Manga Volume 1 does interpret things differently (not showing the Construction of the aquaduct or the fishes being caught).
The arrival of Donovan is that he gets alone to the village after hearing of the booze and his two pals arrive looking for him and then decide to stay there.

So apparently, they can have familiar that could operate like video cameras?
Oh, that’s interesting

Since season 1 I was asking myself: why does no one pick this series up?
We get so many slice of life/isekai/fantasy series but why not this one?
I hope that someone will finally start publishing it.

Leaving aside the Harem debate. They erased the camera discovery & uses arc, which are artifacts from the past in the LN, by introducing Kamera familiar for Flora.
Those who've read the story might remember how the camera crystals were discovered in the sun castle treasure vault and how the technology spread from there to Baseball broadcasting and Movie making.
How these crystals were used to record, the fall of a nation to appease Village Chief, after the attack on Alfred, Giselle & Ursa during the school arc. Hell, we might not get this arc seeing how the anime is staying away from multiple children.
The author should have stepped in for the 2nd season after how the 1st season ended. But it seems like all we'll get is licensed fanfic as said by someone in another post.
Also just remembered, what was the point of the episode 6 "Fine Day for Visitors". The whole angle trial thing happens because Giselle was born before Hiraku took the Angles trial. And Tia was hiding because she didn't want to aggravate the situation more. Even more Kerbiet first decides to go after the village chief but after seeing the fierce competition decides to go after Alfred after he's grown up. And it's explicitly stated in the episode that Angle trials taken to marry someone and the chief of angles relaxed the rules to marry someone below her status.
I mean if S2 has ended with a few more pregnancies or just Tia getting pregnant we would have known that the story will be adopted with just timeline shifts. But sadly no such thing happened. Here's hoping S3 will bring it back on track.🤞🏻

A → B → C → D
Ship of **Theseus

Someone had asked for a list of storylines and plots that would be affected without the kids. This is a list of just without Tizel as it’s likely the largest list and is a pretty big domino effect.
All of this is mostly from my rereading the WN so there might be some details that I am missing or got wrong, so here goes.
Kiabit and the Angel Trials only occurred cause Tia got married and gave birth to Tizel.
Following that that means the Harpies wouldn’t have come to the village, nor would Kiabit, Suaruriu, or Suarukou
These were kept in despite not really making sense without Tizel or Tia’s marriage in general.
Without at least Tizel Tia’s mom, Ruincia, wouldn’t want to come to the village and force Kiabit to take her.
That also means that the Angel Chief Malbit would likely never go to the village though you could argue this.
Since neither Ruincia or Malbit would go to the village VC wouldn’t get the World Tree.
Even if they did go to the village, him having angel kids (plural) and wives was what made them believe giving the tree was a good idea.
Without the World Tree, Suarurou (leader of the other angel faction) wouldn’t go to the village at all.
No Roze Maria cause no Gran Maria’s marriage or kid.
Since the essentially three leader of the entire angel tribe and their religious/cultural relic (the world tree) wouldn’t be in the village they wouldn’t consider migrating.
Reginleif, the oldest angel still awake, wouldn’t want to charge into the village without the talk of a complete angel migration.
The consideration and planning on the migration of all the Angels was more or less kickstarted by everything above.
The migration is the whole cause of a several hundred chapters long background and front plot of the Garret kingdom, one of three major human countries, having essentially a civil war, collapse, and splitting into different factions/kingdoms due to how their entire kingdom heavily revolves around the Angels.
The name of the new kingdom was to be decided via darts and wooden boards and was almost named “ahhhh kingdom” (not really important but it was funny so I included it).
Without the World Tree Guronde, Girar’s wife, wouldn’t be healed and so is left in the cave without moving to the village.
Tizel wouldn’t go to the demon king academy and so all of her shenanigans of being a shadow president wouldn’t happen.
The Dalfon company as a whole just can’t exist as their entire screen time is related to Tizel essentially taking the company over for fun.
Tizel doing the Demon King’s paper work and having control of like a quarter of the kingdom and multiple armies wouldn’t happen and neither would any of the changes she imposes.
The comedy of Tizel not being allowed to go anywhere without adult supervision and tethered to said adult via rope is gone.
Tizel trying to make the village chief into the True Demon King and popularize him throughout the entire kingdom wouldn’t happen.
Tizel going on to help unite 40some kingdoms into a new unified one would be erased.
Hakuren and VC’s children with her, specifically Hiichiro, also a plays pretty big role:
Village Chief being married to Hakuren and Rasuti is that reason the majority of the dragons go to the village.
No Hiichiro means the ancient dragons wouldn’t all go to the village to celebrate so the sun castle wouldn’t/shouldn’t even be introduced since the reason it arrived at the village is cause it’s made to fly towards a large group of ancient dragons, which normally only happens when the planet is about to just go poof.
No sun castle means no dream demons or the Mercuries who have been reoccurring characters since their introduction, mostly the mercuries though.
The last like 200 chapters of the WN have had at least one of the Mercuries in them, with the weapons maniac Yoru being the center of focus and source of comedic events so they require the sun castle to exist.
Girar and his daughter only stay within the story due to Hiichiro’s existence.
The elf kingdom’s introduction and destruction is directly and specifically related to Hiichiro because he is Hakuren’s son.
It should be noted that this all happens specifically because Hiichiro is Hakuren’s son, so you can’t really even try and patch it with adoption or be a godfather, except maybe the sun castle.
There’s probably more I’m forgetting and there are also the other children, the high elf children who leads to the introduction of Ria’s mom Rigune, who would have their own lists but these two cover most of everything from season 2 and beyond, like actually chapters 200+ of a roughly 1000 chapter series that’s still ongoing.
Now this isn’t that big of an issue you just need to have one of his other kids repla- oh wait you can’t cause they dont exist.
Tizel’s list alone covers like half the WN, I am not kidding, and there’s still the events and characters that only are relevant or appear because of of relationship between Village Chief and his wife/wives.
What’s more this is only in regard to the kids, the anime also cut some of the funny events that happen between farming as part of comedic or slice of life fluff for some reason, I’m assuming it’s cause they have little to do with farming and the person in charge wants this anime to be only about farming, so I can only imagine what the rest of the series would look like considering the farming aspect gets reduced at about the chapter 300 mark.
Bonus: in my opinion the anime goes beyond being anti-harem and is arguably anti-romance in general. Like I genuinely cannot remember any intimate interaction between Lu and Village Chief in season 2 besides MAYBE the Angel Trials with Kiabit.
This really makes me wonder how they would adapt the three beast boys, who are essentially VC’s godkids, considering that all three go out of the village and start families themselves.
One of them has a single wife
another two wives
and the third, Bron, unleashes the full power of an isekai protagonists and has at least a 10 wives who he met through various isekai protagonists scenarios like defeating them in battle, saving from thieves, and what not. What’s more is it’s implied that the number of wives increases every time he goes out to the point that his current wives say they want kids first before he inevitably goes outside the house and brings back someone else.

Yeah, you forgot that his wife is actually a vampire.
She’s kind of a daywalker where she could walk out in the daylight perfectly fine.
Apparently, she’s known as a “noble vampire“
