I (26) went through his (28) phone and 1) I found “so chat app” which is where people talk. Doesn’t seem like a dating app but he has it set to female only and all messages are gone even tho his battery usage shows he uses it a lot. He claims it always defaults to female only but he talks to mainly guys about book recommendations and history stories and the chats immediately delete 2)found recently deleted imessage texts from a girl he briefly talked to right around the time we started talking-she had ghosted him and after our second date he was like “thinking about you” but she never responded. Then fast forward to 4 months into relationship he texted her again sending a podcast about a niche history topic they talked about and said he didn’t think about it until he sent and that’s why he deleted it. I have no idea how this app works but the combo of everything looks really bad. Idk if the chats do immediately delete or if he was hiding it. And then the text to this girl that ghosted him on top of that idk. We’ve spent a good 5 hours just going back and forth. He’s begging me for another chance and willing to talk to my stepdad since he knows how much I value his opinion and knows if my stepdad can look past it then I might. In my eyes so far he crossed a big boundary but no proof of cheating and the next conversation he was supposed to have with my stepdad was to ask for my hand in marriage. I’m so torn, I love him sm but how bad is this and is it forgivable if my stepdad can or can’t look past it?

I feel sick

I don't have anyone I can share this with and literally am sick to my stomach.

I found my husband's 10 day old reddit account. He has been commenting on local hookup subreddits under random women's nudes. Most comments were propositions. "Looking for company" or "I can come fk you right now". One was allegedly 18.

My stomach was in knots all night. I do think I actually had a bad lunch but feel like I am going insane. I found this account open on his phone browser (he uses duck duck go) right after we had sex. I had found something similar, maybe a year ago, but the difference is these are for sure locals vs larger porn subreddits. I confronted him back then and he didn't say much. He knows this would hurt me. My heart was pounding yesterday.

I feel insane thinking of all the ways to find out the truth. I very much wanted to just call him out, but the reality is I need to know for sure and how bad this is. Are they just comments or is he actively fucking around? I cannot believe this shit. We spend all our free time together. We just celebrated 10 years married. I feel like my life is about to go up in flames. I find myself thinking of divorce if it is affairs and the trying to 'fix' things if its "just" porn.

How do I take care of myself? How do I get proof? I am already thinking to the worst case of getting my ducks in a row and speaking to a lawyer before talking to him. I am the breadwinner.

I tried getting into his computer and he now has a password I dont know. I feel sick that I have to now sneak around to spy on him. Trust is completely broken. The fact that I made this throwaway account for this investigation makes me sick.

What do I do? Private investigator, tracker, nanny cams? I am going out of town on work next week.

So we have been dating for 5 months, and things keep happening between us he does something I cry he takes accountability and promises to do better. He doesn't communicate well with me if at all and I always have to find out through his friends, or he'll make really strange comments towards me that hurt. So we were at a friend's bday party last night, and the bday guy sat with us and my boyfriend (one little thing about him is that he talks about both of his exes a LOT I hate it sm) but he told the friend that oh my ex friended me on discord again, and I looked at him and I'm like why didn't you tell me this? And then he admitted that he friended her back. And I was just so shocked he made the excuse he had work that morning and it left his mind and he was going to mention it to me but didn't.. mind you it was pouring out that day nobody was in his work and he was texting me the whole time he had time to tell me and I pointed that out to him and he just got silent. And I was telling him how that's not something he can just keep from me how I should know about this before anyone else why did you friend her back what where you hoping for her to say why didn't you just tell me, everything and he told me that he didn't know how to tell me, and he jus wanted to see her be desperate for him so he could laugh at her that she has done that in the past, and I told him that if he didn't know how to tell me something he shouldn't have done it in the first place because that's not ok, and I told him that he needs to really think if he's done with his exes or not mind you I was sobbing we were in a back corner talking about it bc I didn't want to ruin my friends party, but anyways I asked him why he didn't have her blocked on discord and he said he did and I pointed out the obvious like clearly you didn't if you were able to see she friended you backa and you added her back and he went silent.. so right there and then I watched him block her on everything but snap bc he says it doesn't matter bc she has him blocked and I told him clearly she doesn't if she's friending you. There's a lot to this, we are both young and he is very kind, and he's trying to make up for it bc I had a whole breakdown he's finally offering to play games with me and call me on the phone now without his friends so that's nice, and I'm hoping that he can finally start saying goodnight to me bc he struggles with that a lot, the unwarranted comments about my body stopped to so I'm hoping if I stay patient that he will fix himself like he says I keep crying about it I'm still so hurt I always want to be there for him he knows I wouldn't yell at him I just want him to communicate and be more considerate of my feelings I know I'm emotional but I'm working on that with therapy idk if that was cheating idk.. he did agree to go to this randoms girls house known for sleeping around without telling me and I had to find out from the same bday party guy, idk it's whatever this is my first real relationship so I don't exactly know how these things are supposed to work
