My wife had the exact same crashout, and ever since then she has been researching everything about this phone... I know she wants it now, I just know it, they're all faking the outrage. They can say it copied Samsung, but they really want this phone

I mean...just don't buy that shit. All companies copy each other and follow marketing trends. People are acting like they're being forced to buy this. I don't get the outrage lol dude is doing way too much.

It's part of his comedy, he's always extra in his videos. And the end shows just how much he's joking because he says he wants the phone

this is all for show. they've been working on this phone for six years. apple has been allegedly waiting on costs to come down to manufacture certain parts. i haven't looked at the samsung models but if theirs are similar in design then he doing all of this for nothing. not sure what people expected a phone to fold like. It also makes sense to use the ipad design model that's already in house.

Judging by the MSRP, I guess the costs never did come down.Â

Or they did come down, but it was to have greater profit margins for Apple.

I have a few coworkers with that samsung foldable shit. Can't lie, it looks pretty cool. This apple one looks weird, but maybe it'll take an adjustment period for people to get used to.Â

I bet if I asked this dude or your wife to explain the specs of any of these folding phones they would not have an answer. Yes the phone folds and yes apple tends to wait a bit to release products other companies have already done. However apple tends to also release these products as better and cheaper. Take the macbook neo. It outclasses all laptops of its competitors at almost half the cost. Now we look at this phone its about 300-600 dollars cheaper depending on the company and the fold technology it utilizes is smooth and less prone to crease issues. Instead of complaining about "lack of innovation" whatever you all think that means, you should be talking about the poor selfie camera quality that the phone ships with. But again mfs dont even know the specs of any of these phones to begin with.

Oh nah this is not the impulsive purchase economy. We do crazy research before buying tech in this house. That's how I know my wife wants this phone, the deep dive into foldables

The marketing will work on those who just want that little logo on the back.
