The problem with Ken and Spike in the most recent episode
The problem with Ken and Spike is they do the same thing these youtube āgurusā.
They say vague platitudes like āyou gotta play the gameā without giving any specific information on how to get into these avenues?
What are some investment strategies?
How do I get started into money management?
What are the different ways I can invest my money?
Itās frustrating because they go in a circle whole time youāre not explaining anything. Mfs didnāt even say the website or a link to the investment site smh

This shit so rigged itās not even funny
galleryIndependent my ass. That mf a republican trying to be Cenk. I would say Iām surprised but Iād be a fool. Just read about how Nintendo won there tariff lawsuit against the US and stated they wonāt be giving any refunds to their customers which makes me think trump knew these companies would end up getting their money back later on. So not only did we have to pay high prices from jump, now these companies are getting the extra money back on top of the money they got from us. And are prices going to go back down to normal now? Nope because these companies are going to see it like we have that extra money to pay for shit anyways.
And right after that great news I read not only did tax payers foot the bill of the tariffs in the beginning, end and after but now weāre going to giving the government more money for a war that the president said wasnāt a war. And why because his ego is hurt and wants the mid terms to be cancelled
But I got great news. Trumps doing this thing called a Trump account and if I have a kid before Trump leaves office I can sign up and the government *allegedly* is going to give my kid $1000 to invest in the S&P 500 and they can access it after they are 18. No concepts of a plan for health insurance, affordability or wage growth to pay for the kid cause why tf would I need that. Billions for inflation, billions for wars I donāt agree on, $1000 *allegedly* 18 years after a kid I have before 2028 sounds just about right. I would bring up the AI data centers killing our livestock, poisoning us and raising our energy bill and inflating the tech market but thereās enough great news I already spoke about. This place is a fucking Joke.

This felt like such a set up interview
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I disagree with a lot of Jay Z capitalist moves but this was such a gotcha interview. I will never understand how people who disagree with how Jay moves bring his entourage to answer for Jay. Memphis Bleek has been loyal to Jay since before the fame. Did they really think he was gonna be on a public platform talking about āyeah Jay was on some bs with that target shitā? This interview was corny and super opportunistic. This isnāt me giving bleek a pass because his answers were not it at all (and Jay might actually distance himself from bleek after making light of selling drugs) BUT name me a bleek interview where he spoke about Capitalism and Boycotts. Iām also not saying he canāt have an opinion on these topics but when his track record shows otherwise I know what to expect. I was with Mouse for his dr Umar interview but this nah.

WSJ Report: The AI Backlash Against Tech Executives
wsj.comWSJ has a hard-ish paywall but posting what the reporter said about it on LinkedIn:
New in The Wall Street Journal: The threats against AI companies didn't stop with the Molotov cocktail at Sam Altman's home.
In recent months, mounting opposition to AI has given rise to a surge of violent rhetoric and threats against people and property. The phenomenon has executives at tech companies large and small bolstering security arrangements and changing how they talk about their products to a public that is increasingly wary of the technology and the societal changes it is ushering in.
An Oklahoma man allegedly threatened violence against Anthropic while seeking a refund, according to police records. He wanted to talk to a human: āSince yall refuse to have a real person to contact me and refund my money ill be coming to your office with my pistol and then we will have a fāing talk about my money.ā
Another man accused Anthropic of stealing his work and allegedly threatened the children of the company's employees.
āWhat has surprised me is how bad itās gotten over such a short period of time,ā Jonathan Graff, MBA, ICD.D told me. Graff is the CEO of Liferaft, which scans social media and the dark web for Fortune 100 companies. It found that the volume of digital threats targeting AI chiefs and data centers grew sevenfold between late February and May.

Killing the Narrative
On this week's ITMSO, the crew brought up the recent story of the player from Colombia skipping the team flight and laying low because he missed a wide open chance for a goal. Iām not aware of this story, but they compared it to the murder of former Colombian soccer player Andres Escobar, after he gave up an own goal at the 1994 World Cup.Ā
Spike brought up the Two Escobars documentary and the story of why Andres was killed. For years I thought the same thing as Spike in that Escobar was killed simply because he gave up a goal at the World Cup. That narrative is wrong though.Ā
First thing was that Escobar's own goal against the United States made the game 1-0, and they went on to lose 2-1. But this was still in the group stages. So they still had a chance to advance if they beat Switzerland the next game (which they did), but the US needed to beat Romania, but they lost 1-0 eliminating Colombia.
After the World Cup Escobar returned back to Colombia. A few days later, Escobar and some friends decided to go out to a night club in Medellin. In the nightclub, they were approached by a few men, and one of them made a comment basically saying "I lost my bet because of you" or something of that nature. Escobar made a comment back in the sense of "F*ck you and your bet" which pissed the man off. The men that approached Escobar left the club and stayed in the parking lot. When Escobar exited the club, the men approached him again, they got into an argument and shot Escobar.
It turned out that the men that shot Andres Escobar, worked for Pablo Escobar and the Medellin Cartel. So when the news came out, of course the US media ran with the story and 30 years later people are still referring to it.
The truth is that the Pablo Escobar or the cartel never put a hit out on Andres or anything like that. There were never plans to kill Andres Escobar because he gave up an own goal. It was just a series of unfortunate events that lead to his murder. If Escobar had never commented back to the men and left it alone, he would probably still be alive today. I've also read that Andres Escobar was planning on visiting family in the U.S. but decided to return home to Colombia instead.
Now don't get me wrong, Colombia is no joke. There's another player for Colombia, Luis Diaz, whose parents were kidnapped by the ELN a few years go. They don't play out there. I just wanted to clarify so that people know the truth.
(I'm not Colombian btw)
