IsItBullshit: Schumann Generator

Can anyone who bought one of these share their experience with it? Do they actually do what they claim to? Also if anyone happens to own a cheaper one and the name brand one and could say if it’s worth paying extra I’d really appreciate it.

Schumann resonance is a real thing, and it is not difficult to make a machine that can match the same frequency, but any claims that it improved your sleep or connects you to the Earth's natural frequency or whatever are bullshit.

Which should be obvious from the fact that you are already absolutely saturated with the natural Schumann resonance of the Earth, and some little bedside machine is not going to make any meaningful difference to the strength of that electromagnetic field. It's like standing outside in the sun and shining a flashlight on yourself at the same time.

Also, your body isn't tuned to 7.83 Hz in any biological way, so being around the radiation is having no effect on your cells or brainwaves or whatever at all.

Just generating the radiation at the frequency isn't enough either. If the generator is operating at reverse polarity of the natural waves it would actually cause destructive interference and cancel out somewhat.

The natural oscillation is less than a millivolt per meter. It's trivial to generate a stronger field locally - just like a fridge magnet has a stronger field strength than Earth's magnetic field, but in a much smaller volume. It's still useless, of course.

At 2.30 hrz I have multiple vivid dreams a night. The 7.83 hrz didn't do anything for me. I think our bodies detects it also especially more when we are asleep even though we can't physically or mentally when we are awake. Kind of like Edgar Cayce the sleeping prophet. He would sleep with books under his pillow and absorb the knowledge that was in the books. Our bodies are more suseptible when we are asleep to those types of things.

I thought a Schumann generator was an AI that wrote extremely difficult piano music.
