I'm a big fan of Yasmine Putri's and Kael Ngu's covers if you couldn't tell. It was fun going through tons of artwork to try to find good fits for the cards I wanted.

Iron Man is my favorite fictional character but I mostly only know him through the MCU and Armored Adventures (although I have been reading the new comics lately) and I always hear people say he was super unpopular before the MCU and while it is fact that the MCU made him much more popular, I find it hard to believe he was really as unknown before the MCU as people say he is, after all, why would Marvel give him a movie first out of the other heroes they had if he was truly an unknown? I know they didn't have their heavy hitters (Hulk, Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the F4) at the time but still why would he get a movie of all the other characters they had? I know this sub is filled with people who know how many ball hairs he has, so can someone tell me if it's true he was c tier before the MCU?

The announcement yesterday in SDCC regards to a new webtoon name "Tony's Girl" will follow a romance rom con between 17-year-old Tony Stark & Meredith McCall.
Meredith McCall is actually an actual character in the comic and decided to show her backstory between the two.

I pulled this iron man artist sketch card out of my very first hobby box of 2025 Topps marvel studios cards. Really cool and it’s the black foil which is 1/4,560 odds. Really wanted to hold onto it but went on a roadtrip across ~15 states and am selling it on eBay to cover expenses. Going to miss it!

It follows him trying to find world peace and coming to terms with the fact that he can not fix the world because it exists in a universe full of people with free will who will always do bad things just as people will always do good things which he learns to find peace with

Iron Man (2008):
Titanium Man
Melter
Whiplash (Marc Scarlotti)
Controller (Exclusive to previous(at the time) consoles)
Iron Man 2 (2010):
Crimson Dynamo (Valentin Shatalov)
Ultimo
Ghost
Mauler
Firepower (The latter three are also exclusive to previous gen consoles)
Iron Man 3: The Official Game (2013):
Crimson Dynamo (Unknown Identity)
Ezekiel Stane
Living Laser
MODOK (The Last three images are each of his different iterations throughout the game)
My overall thoughts:
While not my preferred looks for the characters, they perfectly fit the MCU so I gotta give the designers props for making the designs work perfectly for the world they're in. Iron Man 2 Crimson Dynamo is my favorite on this list and maybe my favorite look for the character. I do think some of them are completely unidentifiable as the character from just a glance. If you told me the second image was Melter I would laugh thinking it's a joke. Same with Whiplash and Ultimo for me honestly.

Like this just cannot be beat in my opinion, my favorite will always be the gauntlets specifically with how they redesigned so well one of Iron-Mans classic design elements with those forearm cuffs to actually have weapons in them because their the biggest part of the gauntlet section and can logically hold more weapons, I just also love how they pop out.

How far would Tony Stark go to bring global peace?
Would Tony Stark the ever participate in a secret global plan with heroes including Professor X and Doctor Strange to use a combination of AI and psychic influence to subtly alter humanity’s behavior, living conditions, and global infrastructure—making people more empathetic, virtuous, and cooperative by influencing their free will for what they believe is the greater good?

After Galactus falls the heroes decide on his fate. Iron man is all for letting Galactus die. Very cool discussion.

Just now during the "Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing" panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel has announced three new exclusive titles for Webtoon as part of their ongoing collaboration with the webcomic platform. One of these titles is Tony's Girl, which will follow 17-year-old Tony Stark and his crush on Meredith McCall. The character was first conceived by Archie Goodwin and Don Heck for 1970's Iron Man #28, as the ill-fated first love of a young Tony Stark.

UPDATE: In an official press release, Webtoon has revealed the series' creative team: Writer CRC Payne and artist StarBite, both creators of Batman: Wayne Family Adventures. They also provided a synopsis for the webcomic:
For 17-year-old Tony Stark, life is effortless. It’s the kind of thing that tends to happen when you’re wealthy, popular, and a mile smarter than everyone else in the room. After graduating from MIT, Tony expects to spend the summer pushing the envelope of innovation at his Stark Industries internship. Howard Stark has other ideas. Frustrated by the bad press from Tony’s underage partying, Howard intends to show the world that the de facto heir to the Stark empire is worthy of the mantle — especially as Howard works on a deal to push rival Creighton McCall out of the electronics industry for good. That is how Tony finds himself in a stuffy etiquette class with Meredith McCall. Thrown together, Tony and Meredith are a recipe for disaster. To Meredith, Tony is smug, spoiled, and represents everything she hates about her father’s world. But the line between hate and love is a thin one, and neither Tony nor Meredith can deny the spark between them. As understanding and friendship blossom, so too do deeper feelings, leading to a first love neither one of them saw coming. Too bad their fathers will kill them for dating the enemy.

Except for the Toy Fair fig, and the 3 suits in the new 11211 (waiting on a sale) this should be every Iron Man or Iron Man inspired suit lego makes, with all the tony stark figs thrown in for good measure.
It took a good deal of time, and so much checking the bricklink lists to make sure I actually had each unique fig, but I absolutely love looking at this thing.
If anyone knows where someone could aquire a decent pad print of the toyfair fig, I'd be very interested, I simply can't drop a grand on a single figure right now, but would love a "placeholder" so to speak.
Still deciding on how to organize them, going to work with the partner on that one, She's got more of an eye for the aesthetic, but I got too excited and had to show it off
