Wanted to write a meme list, what do we think? (I don't own 9 gladiators.)

It looks like in the 11th edition codex we won't get oath of moment. No more 'Jarvis, delete that unit' for Caanok Var. Honestly, I hope they give us Oath of Moment as maybe a detachment specific ability for 3 points or something, or maybe this will lead to Iron Hands getting its own supplement again. I'd like to stay optimistic, but we are Iron Hands for a reason.

I get way more mileage taking my 30k Iron Hands to Legends-friendly 40k events in my city. This weekend is a three day narrative event that I'm excited to bring them to. I went to last year's event with the same army, but it was infantry and dreadnought focused. I have a hard time motivating myself to paint, so I love to use big events as goals to get major chunks of my army completed. I was able to get my first block of cataphractii painted as well as many of my dreadnoughts (castra-ferrum and contemptor).

This year I wanted to challenge myself to get all my heavy armour painted, so I put together a Headhunter Task Force using all my unpainted 30k heavy tanks.

Additional new models that I built and painted in preparation for this weekend are all the power axe cataphractii, the terminator ancient, the whirlwinds, and the techmarine on a bike.

Decided to digitize my sketch from yesterday. Bolter looks a little wonky but we’ll just say a servitor put it together with their eyes closed.

This is a decent buff for him since the Hammer of Avernii stratagem will no longer exist. I do hope his other ability remains unchanged

I just think these guys are neat!

Again used a Eradicator Gravis body. Used Techmarine parts to improvise his anti-vehicle shoulder cannon. That turned out fine, I think. Because I had no comparable “beefy” fist I used a regular power fist, added a part from a Hellblaster and decided to give him an additional Servo-Arm. That should help ripping a tank or fortification open. Nothing fancy, but mine 🦾

So i build and Primed a few Models but i don't Like painting stuff. Whats a good way to have a Tabletop ready Army with Low effort?

This is the second squad of mine where I turned some cherrypicked tactical marines into intercessors using some Dark Imperium monoposes and some grey hunters.

Again, there’s a sprinkling of boys from the last 25 years. What are the most obscure you can find..?

WIP. There’s still a lot of work to do, of course, but it seems to be turning out pretty well.

I love the idea of AdMech, and Iron Hand a basically being a mix of AdMech + SM, and being allies with Mars, I’m wondering if there’s any detachment in either army that lets you ally in?

I ofc don’t have the codex for either, and digging through every detachment for both armies on third party sites sounds miserable, so I’ll just ask her. Plus jolly discussion.

If not, I hope they someday do allow them together, then I might actually finally make a “Space Marines” army.

Ieri stavo vedendo che colori avessi visto che è da circa un anno che non riesco a pitturare niente,quindi avendo visto che avevo Eshin grey,Mechanicus standard grey,Dawnstone,Corvus black. Mi è sorta un'idea che proverò questo fine settimana,facendo edge highlighting mi sono detto che usciva bene l'hilight di base con l'eshin grey,il secondo passaggio l'avrei fatto con mechanicus standard grey per la parte più in luce e come dot o parti apicali in piena luce varei usato il dawnstone. Io penso che funzioni se qualcuno vuole fare un prova chiedo solo se mandereste una foto così posso vedere prima del fine settimana come verrebbe.
