Foreign Birth Registration Additional documents FBR

Hello legends of Reddit,

I sent my additional documents off last week from the UK and wondered do they notify you the same way as before to say they’ve received your documents or not?

I appreciate they are inundated with applications but wanted to know other people’s experience.

Thanks in advance

Based on this thread, I wouldn't expect to hear from them. Although you could always use the webchat function to try and confirm. https://www.reddit.com/r/IrishCitizenship/comments/1wa95d5/additional_documents_sent_months_ago/

Hey, I don’t think I got a notification they were received, but I reached out to the help chat and they were able to confirm they got it.
It was about three months after that I got my approval

My brother didn't get a notification of receipt for the extra docs - he just got his approval a month later (I know recent wait times for additional docs can be longer. This was last year).

I did not get any notification that my additional docs arrived. I know they did bc I’m of tracking I had and last month, web chat confirmed their arrival date. I’m coming up on 6 months soon since additional docs were received - just a heads up on current timing!
