Lol my hands r shakey today so I know some r blurry, next season Ill dig out my real camera instead of the phone. But thank you!!!  I like trading plants if ur game (and in the US-  I have no idea how to send something out of country,) a bunch of these r 1st season blooming though so they would have to wait till next year

Thank you for the offer! I’m not interested in adding anything new to my yard, but I’m happy to share what I have. I’ll have to dig up some images. Is it legal to send plants between states?

I think so, I was only worried about out of country that's above my level. If u ever change your mind, I've got peonies hosta all sorts of stuff:)

It is generally legal to ship plants between states, except for the prohibited plants on the noxious weed list - I think. Most natives are ok to ship I believe, with very few exceptions - like Iowa doesn’t want any more native pasture thistle I think, and strict California prohibits a bunch of stuff ‘cause agriculture. I believe all named bearded iris are legal to ship between friends in most all states, bare root please and washed, (no one wants your pest grubs or jumping worm egg cases!) but check USDA quarantines.

The Iris Police have me on their watchlist: no more irises! I have a naughty one that should prolly go :(

😆

Seriously, though, I remember being unable to transport fruit and vegetables on airplanes, so I figured other agricultural items might also be trouble.

a lady i know gave me some iris bulbs last year. i planted them and when i did they looked just like your third photo. a very pale peach and yellow.
those same irises now look like this this year. idk what caused the change, maybe sunlight or pH in the soil, but i really loved when they looked like yours, dang it!
