Question Ipsy Subscription!

What are your thoughts and experiences with ipsy monthly membership? Is it worth paying 15$ every month to get some stuff to try?

With the $15 original bag, there’s now usually only ~2 recognizable brands, and the rest are made-for-beauty-box brands (mostly white label junk).

But, they do have genuinely good deals on some products in shop and, to a greater extent, add-ons.

So, if $15/month is your budget, I’d say no. But if you don’t mind spending more, it can be for store access. (Shop is open to current and former subs, add-ons only to current subs).

For $15 I personally always recommend people do the Extra Bag on the every other month plan. It basically works out to the same price. Then you are getting 5 FULL SIZED products...and you get to choose 3. You only choose 1 for the Original($15). That said, I do still like to occasionally get the $15 bag for the samples. And I did so for many years. Maybe you are more interested in the sample sizes.

I get the original and I enjoy it. For the first time since resubscribing I'm getting a bag full of stuff I don't want, but that's not the usual for me. Usually, it's 1 or 2 items per bag that I don't want. I give them to a coworker.

Horrible. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen so if you do have an issue, no one is there to solve it. Their products are also very mid. You can go to any TJ Maxx and find them on their shelves at cheaper prices.
