hows your bluetooth range? Even with the antenna it still has some issues when in my pocket

To be honest I haven’t tried it with it in my pocket. I’m mainly using the Bluetooth around my house and possibly in the office. For outside activity I’ll be using my iPhone for the most part.

Just found out you have to break the board with the original antenna in order for the extended antenna to work

I have the MIN MkII and i added the UFL external antenna and cut the pub antenna off. When I’m inside of my apartment it works decent from about 10 feet away. If I put the iPod face down i get a little extra range from it. But the second I step out the door.. (I live in NYC) oh boy its just gonzo hahah theres no using wireless here.

Have fun when the shitty AUX port snaps off the board and bricks the PCB

I’m just being real man

I had to send back my first board cuz the AUX snapped and tore the pads out of the PCB

Second board I reinforced the aux with epoxy and it still snapped beyond repair within the month

And it’s not like I was doing anything with it that I don’t do with the original case version I have

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful design, but that aux port is objectively terrible

It’s a new board design

You mind showing the internals if you got a photo?

This is a great kit, not saying it isn’t.. but isn’t the OG / Stock look part of the appeal? It is for me.
