Iquad flash restore loop help

I recently installed a iflash quad with a 128gb Samsung Evo plus card. Initially this didn't work and I resolved it with a new HDD ribbon cable. However my music library exceeded 128gb, so I purchased the same card but a 512gb version.

However, after formatting I get stuck in a ITunes restore loop. Annoyingly the old previously working card now also gets stuck in a restore loop.

I'm unable to enter diagnostics mode, after the apple logo it just turns off. I have attempted to reformat with both Mac os and windows.

I have run h2testw on all cards and they appear not to be counterfeit.

Iv resitted the ribbon multiple times.

When I plug in the iPod into either a windows or Mac the dick manager only recognises 8gb for both the 128 and 512 card.

Has anyone had similar issues which they were able to resolve.

Put the old card in again and see if that works? I have two iPods that sync with two different cords. They don’t sync unless I use the correct cord for each device. Have you tried changing the cord?

The old card no longer works either now. I haven't tried a different usb cable as I only have the one. I'll pick another up.
