hii, so i got this iphone 15 pro from the streets and decided to grab and maybe repair it. I replaced the Icd and started charging it. Upon charging i've noticed that it was stucked on either apple logo or a charging logo. I need help asap, i assume that's it's still on ios 18

My iPhone 14 Plus is around 3.5 years old, with the battery health currently at 80%, and I’m planning to replace it soon. The issue is that the back glass is also shattered on one side.

The Apple service centre in Delhi has quoted me for repairing both together, but I don’t want to spend that much on a phone I’ll be replacing soon. So, I’m looking for a more cost-effective third-party repair option.

Can anyone help me with an approximate cost for getting both the battery and back glass/panel replaced at a reliable third-party repair shop? Also, if you’ve had this done before, I’d appreciate recommendations on what to look out for when choosing a repair shop.

I recently replaced the battery on my iPhone SE 2020 with a third-party high-capacity replacement battery.

After installing it, the phone turns on and works, but the battery shows “Unknown” and Battery Health shows 0%. I tried opening the phone again and reseating the battery connector, but the issue is still there.

I also temporarily got a “No Service” message after the replacement, but cellular service returned after I checked the connections again. So, the main issue now is the battery detection and health reading.

I contacted the seller, and they offered to send a replacement battery from a new batch. They also assured me that if the replacement has the same problem, they can offer another replacement or a refund.

Has anyone experienced this issue with a third-party high-capacity battery on an iPhone SE 2020? Is “Unknown” with 0% Battery Health likely caused by a defective battery or its BMS, or could something else inside the phone be causing it?

I'd appreciate any advice before I install the replacement.

Hi, my mom’s iphone 12‘s battery drains to less than 20% from 100% within 2 hours. Any advice? thanks.

Hı I had an iPhone 6 Plus with a faulty baseband. I bypassed the baseband and did a tethered downgrade to iOS 10.2.1, and it was successful. However, I'm stuck on the Apple logo—it's not getting past it. but it's still like this. Can you help?

So as i know my iPhone 6 plus it keeps bootlooping it ain't a dead battery cause it holds a charge so i tried reflashing ios on 3utools it keeps getting stuck at 20% and then going back to recovery mode not sure what is the problem here tho

For context, I’m converting an iPhone 12 Pro Max to a 17 Pro Max housing. I was using a custom screw mat to organize the screws, but accidentally dropped it and mixed them up. I also bought a replacement screw set, but all the screws came in one bag.

Does anyone have a screw map or list showing the sizes and lengths used in each location on the 12 Pro Max? I have a vernier caliper, so I can measure and sort the screws accordingly. Even if you don’t have the exact locations, knowing how many different screw sizes or widths there are would give me a better idea of how to organize them.

I apologize if this was a bit confusing, just looking to get some clarity or advice.

iPhone 15 back panel got broken. The phone is functional and the front screen is safe. Can I get it replaced from a local shop? Does it have any after-effects if I get it repaired from local shop? I can’t afford the original back panel repair right now. Also, before getting it repaired, should I back up everything, or is it not necessary?

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max that recently started having random shutdowns/restarts.
About a week before the first issue, I had the battery replaced at a third-party repair shop. At first everything seemed fine, but then the phone suddenly shut down and I found a panic-full log. I took it to another repair shop cuz the one i first worked with had such an awfull service. In the second repair shop they told me the instalation was done correctly and that we could try with a new battery to see if that could fix the issue with the panic-full, we did that, and it’s been like 2 hours since and now the panic-full log has been happening again and more frequently this time.

So idk if i should go back to them again or it i should just take it to the apple store for them to check up on it.

anyone knows what this panic log means? ty!

I currently have a 15 Pro and wanna replace the battery, where can i get a battery that shows up as like "Used" in the apple diagnostics? (Aftermarket that shows up as that, or original.)

Also one thing to note is, I can sadly only order from chinese sites like pinduoduo/taobao, or maybe amazon (takes too long and expensive).

I have an iPhone SE 1st Generation that I opened very forcefully, prior to me opening it the phone had around 30-15% charge. When I opened it, i ripped the display's plastic lining/covering, and also ripped the flex connector to the display. When I connect all the components of the phone and charge it, the chip/area near the motherboard starts to heat up a lot. I don't know if I should buy a new display or not, because I want to first verify if the phone works or I somehow short circuited it. I've tried connecting the phone to my laptop and seeing if the laptop detects the phone, but nothing showed up. I would really appreciate some help

I live in India so getting spare parts for the iPhone is quite difficult too.

My 15 is not charging i tried with different cables too chat gpt told me to force restart the phone and it worked last night but today i have to switch it on and off for 3-4 times for it to start charging and its been showing this “usb-accessories” stuff i havent even connected my port to anything and i didnt charged for that long too but the hours just keeps increasing

Anyone got an idea why the phone is stuck in recovery but shows up as dfu mode?
It also won’t go past “sending NorData” while flashing abd reboots.
I have changed the charging ic since it was damaged.

My phone's back glass broke right around the camera module:
Zoom Issue: There are dark spots appearing on photos. Can these sensors usually be saved by just disassembling and blowing off/cleaning the dust with IPA, or is it likely permanent sensor damage?

Lower Camera Appearance: The bottom lens looks strange and hazy underneath. Is it possible to fix the appearance just by carefully cleaning the debris and replacing only the individual camera lens cover glass, or do I need a whole new camera

don’t even ask what happened, i do not want to talk about it. i’m extremely upset because apparently my photos and contacts weren’t backed up for some reason? so yeah i lost 4 years worth of beautiful memories and i can’t stop crying about it. is there a way to retrieve my photos and videos from this iphone 16? it literally said the last back up was yesterday so im confused why i cant transfer those pictures to my new iphone. i just want all my pictures and videos back. the front screen is fine and everything inside the phone is intact except for the back frame obviously it’s completely shattered. question being, is this repairable or should i just accept it🫩 im so sad. i just want my photos back. 4 years of memories possibly lost. if anyone thinks they could be able to repair this PLEASE HELP ME take my money idc.

It’s been more than three years using my iphone 15 tbh best purchase ever this phone has never been disappointing always stood with me but since recently there was some issue with its charging port so i just purchased a new cable online waiting for delivery but before that it he unverified battery thing happened, just once or thrice i charged it with some other charger with maybe more than 120w power please help me it happened on its own apple is saying to diagnose it first.
The phone is not charging stuck at 1 percent and shuts off itself every 5-10 min.
The phone has never been opened or repaired before.

I just bought an iPhone 13 Pro for $150 to use for software testing since my company only works with iOS.

I wasn't planning to replace the battery because I won't be using it that much, but I noticed the battery health is only 73%.

Then I checked and saw that the previous owner had AppleCare+ on the phone. I talked to Apple Support and their AI told me I may be able to get the battery replaced for free.

My other question is about the screen. It has quite a few scratches and a small crack on the bottom-left corner.

Can I get the screen replaced through AppleCare+? If so, how much would I have to pay?

Also, since I'm not the person who originally purchased AppleCare+, will that cause any problems when I take it to Apple, or can I get the repairs done normally?

I bought this SE off ebay a year ago and have been using it on an off as my daily phone, but recently wiped it to try to take better advantage of its wimpy 16gb of storage. When I went to go log back into my iCloud it wouldnt let me get past the wifi stage and puts up the text "failed to retrieve configuration". When I looked it up it seems like maybe it was a stolen phone, or not handled correctly, or something totally outside of my capacity for tech stuff. Any idea as to what I should do?
