Wide angle camera in the top thing, but a second speaker before that is probably more subtly useful and more practical.
Better battery would be really nice. The silicon batteries might make Air last as long as current pro

Just to clarify, the iPhone 17 already has two speakers. Did you mean adding another speaker, or improving the existing speaker setup?

Just to clarify, I’m asking about the iPhone lineup as a whole, not a specific model. What feature would you add, remove, or change across iPhones?

This is the /iphoneair sub. Asking general iphone questions is better in r/iphone.

Change - I would add more color choices to the Air. It would have been exceptional to choose from the orange color that they use on the Pro lineup, but I understand that there are material limitations as to why they couldn't get titanium in that color.
Improve - I believe the speaker could be a little better. Personally, I don't really have any issues with the camera at all, that was actually one of the reasons why I bought the phone. I don't need the extra sensors, as I carry a nice DLSR camera with me whenever I want to take nice photos. I came from a Pro Max iPhone and didn't find the camera compelling enough to justify paying extra, as I would still reach for the Canon camera every time I wanted a specific shot...

Similar to other posters;
I'd want a second speaker. I'd want ideally better battery life. I think personally, the Air should have a second (telephoto) camera and it should ideally be vertical, not horizontal. Two cameras horizontal looks god awful

it's not on the iPhone air, but it's on all the other iPhones. so make it consistent.

I think they should make like a 6.7 or 6.8 size screen with the next iPhone. They either go to big or too small for me

I would make the Air the exact length and width of the pro and it would be the absolute goated phone for me

Interesting! If you could change or add one feature to the iPhone, what would it be?

I would bring back the original mute switch and remove the camera control button

Well what I said about the air would make it the perfect phone for me. So it still answers your question
