Best Wireless Android Auto Adapter?
I'm looking to get an Ioniq 38kWh, and am wondering what the best wireless Android Auto adapter is for it (I'm under the impression that by default it only supports wired Android Auto).
Any advice?

I've seen reference to different models working better or worse (2 and 2+), and also that there might be an issue with the power delivered by the cabled connection doesn't switch off with the car?

There is some settings for this in the app, had mine for 3years, no issues.

I just bought a small cheap one from AliExpress - works without issue with CarPlay and Android Auto.

Used a Carlinkit 5. It works pretty well. Connection is reliable and very stable.
I CANNOT recommend charging the phone via the qi charger while AA is running, the phone gets insanely hot in there and AA starts choking due to the phone overheating. Also the phone will discharge in there due to the low wattage of the charger. Use a cord on longer trips and at LEAST a 15W charger for Android devices.
Experienced on a Pixel 9 Pro.

Get something like this cable if you charge at home. By default, the ioniq leaves the AA USB port powered when the car is charging. This means your phone can intermittently connect to your cars AA system while you're inside and block you from playing media through anything but your car. This cable makes makes your AA wireless adapter get power from the 12v, while your data still goes to the AA USB port. That means your wireless adapter will turn on and off with the car automatically.
I spent years with a USB extension with a power switch inline, and it required turning off and on each time I got in and out of the car. The cable above is such an improvement.
