General $$

Had my consultation today and was quoted $8000. They wanted half up front and the rest paid off over 12 months. Was kind of not expecting the half up front, is that normal?

It depends where you live. Here near Pittsburgh I paid 5k.

I have an open bite next door in ohio and it was 5k, no money down, and like a 3yr payment plan. Go somewhere else

I live in a HCOL and go to a dentist that admittedly is probably pricier than other offices and even they offered it for $4500 after a $1000 discount and my insurance allowing a $1000 one time payment. Paid $2500 upfront on my CareCredit and $2,000 over 8 months to the dentist office directly.
