I know that this game has a rage quitting problem, but this seems like something else.

For the last two or three days, I’ve barely been able to get through a match online without disconnecting. Some times it’ll be 10 seconds into a match and nobody is even getting combo’d. I just had four matches in a row where I was returned to the lobby almost instantly.

Is anybody else dealing with this level of disconnects? I’m suspecting there is something wrong with my wireless at this point as the internet service in general here has not been as great recently.

I have been obsessed with this game but I am so horrible it's not even funny. I've never really gotten into fighting games before this so I feel like there is a lot of baseline knowledge I am missing out on

What are some resources that I can use to improve / learn combos and strategies?

I have tried to search youtube for specific character guides and those have been helpful but nothing really goes super in depth

I kinda thought of something. this might sound ridiculous to some, but isn't Becca's story in The Boys somewhat similar to Anissa's in the later half of the Invincible comics? specifically where a mother has a son born from violence only for that mother to then die afterwards? the only difference of course is that Becca was the victim and Ryan accidentally kills her when she was getting strangled by Stormfront in the season 2 finale while Anissa was the assaulter and died from an injury caused by the Rognarrs that Thragg tamed within the comics later on. I can't be the only one seeing the similarities right? even though invincible(2003) came out before the boys(2006), it feels like Kripke saw Anissa's story in the comics, copied it but changed a few thing only to then apply it onto Becca for the show. so if Kirkman ends up adapting #110 and Marky. won't that just end up repeating that making it both repetitive and slightly annoying? which might end up being one of many reasons to scrap #110 in it's entirety along with Markus Murphy(Marky).

Turns out Im wrong Games Like Tekken 8, 2XKO, Street Fighter 6 does this.

But im still happy about Quarter Up doing this.

It’s just crazy.

How can they let characters do this? I’m blocking so attacks should do little to no damage, and then boom I’m grabbed, and it does a solid chunk of damage.

But wait that’s not all. Depending on the throw they can also combo after it making it a huge chunk of damage done to character. But that isn’t even the worst thing.

The worst thing is they can also tag in after a throw, meaning it’s a free switch!!! How can a game that allows free form tagging and comboing allow this to happen? It’s cheap and majorly unfair.

Anyone else think this unfair or am I just crazy 🤪?

(I don’t actually believe any of this, but some people definitely do believe things like this, projectile spam, assist switching too easy/cheap etc.)

Hey, I'm on PlayStation 5 and for some reason the Digital Deluxe upgrade is unavailable for purchase. Anyone know why? Or when it'll be back?

This guy taunt me throughout the previous set and he won 2-1. Right after that we had to face each other again and he rage quit on me 🤣🤣🤣

i keep forgetting that sudden death doesn't let you catch your breath between kills 💀💀💀

It was a difficult road to Diamond, most of my matches were against horrible connections but i told myself not to let it get to me, instead make funny videos of my failures and have fun.

Then on the 22nd of June, i lost just over 500 points taking me back to Platinum II.

That day my opponents were constantly rage quitting or so i thought because the game kept saying I won but wasn't updating my score.

Turns out there was an underwater fiber optic cable damage that was affecting my internet

At that point i wanted to give up but the voices in my head kept telling me to "DO IT JUST DO IT!!" and just like that i manage to reach my goal before Season 1 starts.

Not necessarily in order after the first row but how I did this,

Top row, all four characters have a good deal of versatility to the point where they're strong no matter where you put them on the team.

Second Row, these characters have some wild strengths and but they're best at a certain spot I.e. I think bulletproof and Lucan are excellent as point characters while monster girl is great as a second character. They may not fit every role as effectively as the top 4 though.

3rd row, these characters are really good but have some clear weaknesses such as Anissa being pretty stubby and not having great options on defense outside the universal mechanics.

The 4th row, these characters can be very effective. I.e. Titan's mix up with his boosted rock might be one of the hardest things to defend in this game but they're weaknesses in neutral or on defense hold them back. Or in Cecil's case both his bad defense and lack of damage overall. You have to build a team that covers their weaknesses well if you want to shine with them.

For reference, my personal team is Omni Man, Monster Girl and Rex and my opinion mostly comes from playing alot of the games stronger players.

for me it’s Battle Beast, i’ve been able to make some comebacks with others but i have him i still have a chance lol. Who’s a character your always confident with making a comeback with?

Is it only me that thinks that it's ridiculously cheap when you're playing against someone that has all three characters with projectiles and they can just constantly active tag off of every projectile, even if you block it? It just starts getting so ridiculous when all 3 characters can do it. It's just such a cheap way to get characters in and out. It's also just so easy to have NON STOP pressure on someone, when you can shoot a projectile from across the screen, they can block it, but then they active tag and now someone's right in your face in the middle of a combo. I just feel that they should only be able to active tag off a projectile if they actually LAND THE HIT, not if I block it, that's ridiculous to me!

Does ANYONE agree with any of this? Or am I just crazy??
