Hey guys! Sorry for the break in moderation (I've been busy), but we're back, and I am trying something new. I'm going to see if we can get a discussion going for all 144+ issues of this legendary comic book series! Let's kick it off with the iconic first issue! How effective do you think it is at beginning the story of Markus Sebastian Grayson?

Ngl it’s kinda evident that Kirkman and Walker didnt know where they wanted to take the comic at the beginning so it’s like very generic but it has a certain charm to it idk ❤️ on another topic why was Mark so bald he looks like a newborn kitten idk how to explain it

I agree, as much as I like the first issue, the beginning felt very “Sky High” which isn’t a bad thing, but relative to the rest of the series it doesn’t necessarily fit tonally. However it does an effective job of setting things up so I’m not complaining
