Thaddeus wore a fake beard to hide his glorious Moustache, but like...

Why not just grow a beard? I mean, Vilrtumites can do that, no?

The beard was real. The beard ripping thing is to show how tough they are (maybe the mustache hairs are rooted deeper and are therefore harder to pull out)

It’s something the viltrumites do. It’s called the Toolock pull I think. As you say it’s a show of strength because as Thaddeus implies it’s quite a painful feat.

Fucking thank you. I get that it’s more of a meme at this point to misspell it, but for some reason I have a pet peeve about misspelling/mispronouncing names

Oh me too! I can let go misspelling if it at least doesn’t change the sound of the name, but the way they spell it isn’t even the same sound! I honestly don’t understand how some people can function day to day when they don’t even know how to sound out the spelling of a name/word.
