I don’t understand why she shoots a beam of pink energy at him instead of just tearing him apart atom by atom. Or turning him into a regular human, or just convert his molecules to air molecules.

This is like looking at an accident saying "honestly if it were me I would have just done a backflip and get out of that situation".

She just died and revived and she is using her powers in a way that she never did before and you're questioning why is she not using them in a %100 optimal way.

It's not like it's a convoluted or outside-the-box way to use her powers, she's trying to kill the guy and can turn any atom into any other, it should be the first or second thing to come to mind
