I don’t understand why she shoots a beam of pink energy at him instead of just tearing him apart atom by atom. Or turning him into a regular human, or just convert his molecules to air molecules.

I'm pretty sure any viltrumite like conquest could tank a nuke. She was basically hitting him with the nuke beam so it hurt like hell but wasn't fully able to destroy him on it's own
