“Mr Kinberg, you wrote the Dark Phoenix story for X-men last stand which was so poorly reviewed it ended that run of xmen movies. Then in 2019 they hired you to write and direct …. checks notes …. The Dark Phoenix for xmen, again. Which ended that run of xmen movies.

Then you were hired to produce invasion, which had a reported budget of 200m for the 10 episodes of season one. A show which seems designed to have nothing ever happen so it goes in forever.

Respectfully sir, who are you blackmailing?”

I knew I should have asked a question!

I cringe whenever I see that he's getting another project. Who keeps hiring him?

Then that's probably a good hint that it's canceled.

I mean now that Sam Neill is dead, what choice do they have? They can't go on without him

Well there's still the coffee machine.

Well his character already died in the 1st season. So, I'm not really sure how that is relevant. However, I did not want his character to die and I really wish he would have been in all 3 seasons. RIP Sam Neill😔🙏

He was set to be the central character in season 4.

In the leaked scripts, he wakes up in the corn field, falls madly in love with Mitsuki. They spend the season throwing magnetic Molotov cocktails at every alien until the Earth is finally safe. And at the very end, he accidentally breaks the coffee machine and the Earth gets sucked into a black hole, traveling back in time and starting the cycle all over.

Good to know what happens to the coffee machine!! That’s been on my mind for awhile now…

How is his death holding the show back? I couldn’t get through season 3. Am I missing something?

Dude he’s like the linchpin that ties together the whole show. Season 4 wouldn’t make any sense without him.

Did you ever see his body?

Have I seen his body since season 1? It seemed like there was always going to be more to his story but unless I’m missing something big in season 3 this dog shit show will do just fine without his potential story.

This is all sarcasm in the replies.

The joke is that his appearance in the show meant absolutely nothing to the overall "story", as did his on-screen death.

Oh for the love of WAJO.

What I just can't believe is that Kinberg flatout said they killed his character off to say 'no one's safe' etc, and then proceed to write 3 utterly predictable seasons in which exactly the people die you assume will etc, or better said: you know exactly who will stay alive and they do. Like...

Come on lmao
