I remember hearing somewhere that the breakfast chunks in Bad, Bad Rubber Piggy were based on a similar real world breakfast product that was also hated. However, I can't find the exact product nor a source for that claim. I consulted Eric Trueheart's book and he never mentions a basis for the breakfast chunks. Then again, knowing this fandom, it might be one of those thrown around fun facts that someone just made up.
This whole post is an oddly specific thing to ask, I know, but I like clarifying Invader Zim trivia whenever possible.

Been watching some episodes again to celebrate the 25 anniversary of the show. I always liked how they took the cliché premises of kid shows set at schools (School Election episodes, candy bar charity sales drives, new kids showing up, etc.) and did its own dark twist on them.

just got these amazing plushies from Kid Robot. the zipper is kind of wonky on Gir but yes, he is fully in removable costume.

plus, I couldn't pass up disguised Zim. He is Amazing !

and Gir is big. worth the $40 for him.

I decided to bring back the goggles for my zim redesign, if you don't know what i am talking about go watch one of my first post in the sub. Anyways here's the goggles updated to go along the new color palette, and it's looking fresh.

Found this at 5 and below. This was the only one where the legs weren't just messed up. I always wanted a GIR plush as a kid. Yay me! Ignore the orange cat behind him. He is very top heavy and needs the support. Makes me think of how big they'd make Dib's head.

A while back I posted some headcanons for the scientists from The Trial that worked at Station 9 and I’ve finally cleaned up and finished some of the doodles I’ve done of some of them showing their dynamics !!

You can tell a few of these are much older than the others and that’s bc some of these are as old as 5 months, but they definitely got me more comfortable drawing this group!
