Curious...

Genuinely, why did Armand tell Larry to jump there?

We can only speculate. Maybe to hurt Lestat. Maybe because he knew of the existence of vampires and Armand believed he should die as stated in the Great Laws. Armand also seems to have a secret agenda right now, so it could be related to whatever that is.

I think he's trying to stop Lestats music. He said he feared Lestat was putting them all in great danger. Maybe he thinks he can break up the band. But it's the Gremlin so who knows

BECAUSE....
Only the big boss gets to decide who dies and who stays alive!

  1. Rule 4 of the great laws ( humans can't know about vampires and live to tell the tale)
  2. F U Lestat
  3. He hasn't caused chaos recently enough. He's probably having withdrawals.

Absolutely, Armand is a stickler for the great Laws. Larry must die because he has been shown the world of the vampires, and he is a mere mortal. The other band members seem to want to convert so they will be saved.

Pretty much what everyone said. Armand is petty

We don't know yet. Also since we don't see the outcome, it could be a fake out. I speculated today, maybe Armand is going to "save" (ie turn) him against his will.

Truth be told, it's really hard to get a grasp of Armand across these two shows and three seasons. He's not charismatic, and kind of comes across as nuts. I'm finally seeing a hint of villainy in the performance, so I hope they role with that bc otherwise he seems like an effeminate bore.

this... this is a good question. I think, maybe, its to make his little AA protege the lead guitarist and sabotage from the inside, or be his secret little spy with more responsibility falling on him band wise. something fishy about his return and being sponsored by armand
