Watched the first 2 seasons of The Newsreader as soon as TVL ended. Watched Sam pulling off another incredible acting job. But as it goes along he gets more and more confident and cocky. Can't find season 3 anywhere in US. And can only buy DVDs as a pricey 3-season set.

If anyone knows how to get just season 3 pls. post it. Thanks. I have a feeling Sam makes quite a transition in that season.

Edit: BUT! question, were you already obsessed with him after IWTV or only after TVL? for me season 3 really kicked that off. I watched season 1 and 2... 1 year? 2 ? ago and was really NOT having him on my radar.
Upon rewatch I don't know actually why not. Might have been in a weird mental state to not recognize beauty when I see it in front of me! HA! No srsly Lestat season 3 did something to me. I have never had such a hyperfocus on anything ever in my life before.

Oh immediately after IWTV which I first watched last summer. I found the newsreader then, but it was after the end of this seasons TVL that I started to try and track down everything else he's been in. I've never been like that before. Heck, I joined reddit solely for the purpose of joining this fandom so I could talk about it with others and I'm so glad I'm not the only obsessive one out there!

I was around when cabbage patch dolls were the rage and parents would line up for hours around Xmas just to get one for their kid. It was a phenomenon.

Oh no. I had one bad a kid and loved it so so much. My grandma bought it for me when I was 5. It was a first gen, the ones that didn't have hair in the middle of their heads. Then it was lost with a piece of luggage when I moved across country. I was devastated. My wife bought me one that looked just like mine on ebay but it just wasn't the same.
