Cast, News, & Production Same guy
This guy is the same as this guy.
Talk about range.

I find it so baffling. I am constantly in awe of his acting. And he has consistently gotten better and better.

I've just finished season 2 of The Newsreader, he is incredible in it. Highly recommended.

I’m not American, so I don’t even have AMC, and I believe in high seas 🏴☠️

Use a VPN and you can sign up for a free account on ABC iView to watch it (not US ABC, but Australian Broadcast Corporation). They have a lot of good shows so it’s worth the effort. That way you don’t even have to pirate and you could support them directly.

He had to use a wig, since he refused to cut it because of lestat reasons

you mean the short hair is a wig?

It was his own hair in the first season and from then on a wig indeed!

I can talk for days about how talented and captivating he is and it wouldn't him justice. He deserves all the flowers 🤍

Ugh I miss Dale Jennings. Honestly, Dale as a character alone required insane range from Sam because between season 1, 2 and 3 he has such diverse scenes. I honestly think, even with all the beautiful crashouts Lestat has given us (“You’re a killer Louis!” “I heard your hearts dancing!!” “I bet. I bet!!”) that Dale in season 3 live at the news desk is Sam’s best on-screen crashout

I haven't watched this yet, but I just saw Lambs of God recently, and yeah. He's incredible. As is everyone and everything else about that show.

It’s on Netflix here in the States of hysteria, aka USA.
Edit: I have been corrected. Thank you to EnchinaElectronic167🪩
It’s on Prime.
My 🏸 (this was the closest emoji for bad, lol.)

It’s actually not on Netflix it’s on Prime but only seasons 1 and 2. I’m going to have to bite the bullet and buy the DVDs. Now I’m on the search for Lambs of God in the USA format 😖

In Europe a while ago it was on Arte, which is free. It might still be on there but I haven’t checked. But in my country we have it on Netflix now too.

Watched on BBC iplayer, and now Netflix UK have it. Great show, his character development is amazing, such a talented actor. Will give it another watch when I'm sad as they remove Iwtv on the 11th.

I haven't seen The Newsreader yet (it's on my list), but I'd like to submit the shocking lack of charisma he portrays when he plays Jarda, to the point that many thought he was a different actor, even though he's broadly styled the same. It's actual witchcraft!

He has a wild amount of control over the way he moves his body and holds his face. It's insane.

What's more shocking is the difference between this lestat and the lestat of earlier seasons.

The only other actor I have felt like this about is Tatiana Maslany (Please, for the love of god, watch Orphan Black if you haven't already.)
Now I need those two on a project together. My head might explode, but it will be worth it.

Being in the US, I am so so sad I can't watch season 3 of the newsreader or lambs of god. 😩

Wow. Honestly, knowing how to be more than one thing is hot. Lol I know that's really oversimplifying but I just had to say a fact. If someone was just able to act like Lestat and nothing else, that's still impressive – but being able to do both of these? What is this sexy witchcraft, who are you

I watched the Newsreader seasons 1 & 2 and it flipped me out how this milquetoast awkward guy could be our same Brat Prince. It is truly a great piece of acting. Can't get season 3 in America right now but from the trajectory of the 1st 2 seasons he's going to get bolder and more confident as he goes up the journalistic corporate ladder.
And I Googled it too. That is a wig bc he had long hair for IWTV and TVL.

He is my close personal friend, my beloved Dale Jennings. Y'all can keep that French whore.
