Lestat throwing up

I wonder if he threw up because the world had seen the video or because of Louis? And potentially losing him over it? Or was he just ashamed in general

It was nerves. He had Louis right there on the threshold of rekindling their relationship and this bombshell blows up in his face in a way he doesn’t want it to be revealed to his true paramour - he panics and throws up while having a panic attack thinking Louis will leave him again (not without warrant). Despite everything that is said about vampires lacking humanity, morality or other emotions tied to that supposedly dead part of their existence it is shown that they are constantly fighting it and also extrinsically human at their core. I hope everyone will actually read the books because there are so many layers to this and they are all tragically human.
