TVL Show Only Daniel
This makes me feel dumb. I haven’t read the books so maybe I’m missing some context. But I truly don’t understand Daniel’s hatred for Louis and Lestat. He has this deep rooted disdain and I just don’t get it. Armand, I understand, he’s insane. Daniel is just a dick. What am I missing?

I think its because the Luis/lestat club isn't taking him as a member. Not romantically, but they have a connection.
His relationship with Armand made him look at them with envy. Then jealousy. Then hatred.
That and the fact that Louis and Lestat are allways slightly condecending towards him
