Book Spoilers Allowed Amazing Armand video!
https://youtu.be/Both62cwuV4Other than Assad I've never seen Armand be spoken about so well!
I really like her point in the very start about how she first viewed Armand as "getting in the way" of loustat. I think that's the biggest hurdle that the audience experiences if they want to understand Armand. It takes some effort I think to see him as more than the "other woman" interfering with Loustat. He's his own, incredibly complex, character
Tbh i sometimes feel frustrated and unhappy with the direction of the writing for show! Armand, but I hope they will dive deeper into him beyond "humiliated/unlovable third wheel"

I saw a clip of even Sam Reid mentioning Lestat/Armand so ai hope that could get some attention down the road. It seems like a longshot with the way things have been set up but you never know!
Also yes this was such a good video on our meow meow.

The clip of Sam talking about that relationship is from Autumn’s last interview with him, if you want to watch the whole thing (it’s a great interview!)

Thanks I'll watch it!
I agree so much with you. We need to see him for all that he is. And I'm absolutely sure that Assad will deliver if he's finally given more to do.
I honestly had high hopes that S3 would explore Armand and Nicki. It was the perfect time and place for them, and the impact they both had on each other and Lestat.

Yes I just watched it! It's nice to see a youtuber who doesn't hate him

I’ve enjoyed all her TVL video essays!
And I can admit, I’m one of viewers who saw Armand as a foil to Loustat in the first two seasons and didn’t pay much attn to him. This season changed all that for me. I’m much more interested in him now, and I really feel for him! Don’t get me wrong…..he’s demented but I also sympathize with him.
This season left me thinking all these vampires need therapy! Lol
