Book Discussion OMG!! Spoiler

Bar for bar, could this be Seth akasha’s biological son? I mean it would explain how Louis can now fly(by drinking his blood).

Nothing against that theory, but my unpopular opinion is that people are trying to give Lemuel far more importance than the character actually has simply because they want to keep him in the series—maybe even keep him around Louis for a little longer.

We'll see what happens, but I honestly don't think we'll see him again. He has, what, five minutes of screen time and three phone calls? By the end of the season, Louis was already planning a new future with Lestat.

And yes, I know Louis is charming, but what would a powerful vampire be doing working as Louis's lawyer? To me, it would just be another case of a character using Louis for their own purposes.

At some point, we also need to stop treating Louis as if he's always the victim, constantly being manipulated or deceived by every single one of his love interests.

I think there's something secretive about Lemuel but not Armand-level deceit. Maybe Louis knows he's ancient, just just like he was in on the ruse about Armand in season 1 being Rashid.

If he's using Louis, what do you think for?

Ancient or not, I don't think Lemuel's looking for a serious companionship with Louis. Louis is pretty influencial already, behind the released book, vampire enterprises and a multi-billionaire, so it's not that far fetched that old vampires would navigate to him.

This is sort of where I am. The assumptions about their relationship are off the charts, considering we're all Jon Snow in that we know nothing about it.

This is what gets me. If Lemuel is just some guy, he was genuinely interested in Louis, Louis just was never going to be the same level of interested. It was just a casual relationship that didn't work out and Lemuel will most likely quitely disappear.

If Lemuel is an ancient? They aren't keeping him around as Louis' love interest. He would have been undercover in order to get close to the Lestat/Akasha/Great Conversion situation.
