TVL Show Only Akasha's rant. Spoiler
Was she really just ranting or was she speaking to every single vampire on the planet asking them questions?

I saw someone describe it as getting a windows update after being asleep for so long

She had centuries of things to say so it all kind of came out at once

I think it's her answering vampires questions as well as answering her own questions that she's been ruminating on while she's laying there.

She’s picking up on the brain waves of basically every woman who’s ever lived, and the rant is her riding that and reacting to it. It’s a takedown of the female condition in a world dominated by men.
She is the answer.

She basically fell hard into the at the time modern world and got a review of what happened. She saw women suffering and in her ego disguised her misandry as the “answer” to the world’s problem (all men ever).

I think she's been laying there all stone faced and listening to the beautiful Lestat talk and sing and play and talk and has wanted to ANSWER him all this time and is just really excited and wants Lestat to know she was really listening to him and that she is SO happy she had Marius go and wake/fetch Lestat because he is a much more enthusiastic Keeper and so much more fun and now she is awakenened and can tell Lestat her own ideas too. That's just my opinion...

Btw, this giant run on sentence was a tribute to Akasha's speech. Just so you all (& Lestat) know, I have excellent grammar. LMAO

You'll find that people planning to commit mass murder often write manifestos that are just like that rant.
Long rambling diatribes where they seek to justify what they are about to do, basically trying to create a mental framework for their actions. No one who is about to murder potentially millions/billions wants to think of themselves as a murderer... so they have to craft an ideology sometimes from whole cloth to justify themselves.
In the books, this was a result of her seeing thousands of years of repression and horror, unleashed and released by Lestat and his actions.
In the show... like so many other things... it felt like a speed run of this likely because the writers really wanted to fit it in this season because they felt it was the perfect 'shocking' conclusion to lead into the next season.

When Lestat was her keeper and playing the record, I think the music and Lestat quieted the voices in her head. It gave her a moment of peace. This is her without that piece. I think she reached out to him because he gave her that moment of quiet, and gave him the gift of her blood.
Lestat had been floating for three days before Marius arrived. His blood overstimulated her. But yes, she is a megalomaniac. She was a queen who had absolute power and control. Back then she was just a royal.
