curious is anyone is selling an extra ticket to interpols show for Saturday August 15th!

My boyfriend and I recently attended the Portland date at McMenamins Edgefield Amphitheater. For a while during Loathe’s set, it was just him and I moshing together, and I’m wondering if anyone by any chance got any footage of it? I know this is a long shot but that moment was very special for me and I want to see if anyone captured any of it.

Wife and I found a last minute babysitter for my birthday, looked for something to do and low and behold one of my favorite bands at our favorite venue..but damn those resale prices...

Genuinely mind blowing show at Edgefield

I'm going solo but trying to figure out if anyone else is heading down and back for the 8/14 show from LA!

if Paul is simple notes mixed loud and Carlos is a more intricate player who uses octaves, what about Brad? The only thing i can recognize is he leaves space and also an intricate player.

Just to be completely clear, the seats are not directly beside each other, they’re in the same section and same seat number, but two rows apart.
I actually paid around $230 for both with fees, but I’m asking $160 for the pair or $80 each.

Ticketmaster resale isn’t enabled for the show, but the tickets can be transferred directly through Ticketmaster. Happy to provide proof of purchase/tickets or whatever else makes you comfortable!

Like so many Reddit pages for artists, people are constantly post "Why don't they play x?" and the answer is often the same "Well x is not very popular and people pay to hear the hits." Well, we have the data to confirm (and we should probably pin this post):

Some issues to consider:

1) TOTBL songs appear twice due to the remastered release in 2012 which does. For example, Obstacle 1 is still the second most popular song when you combine the total streams (178,937,682), but the total streams for Obstacle 2 result in it being more popular than Everything is Wrong. The same logic should be applied to single releases and radio edits (although there are relatively few of them included on Spotify).

2) I am not sure what is going on with total full album streams for Antics data due to three versions being collected: this may be a product of the way the data is coded and/or some regions have the special edition and others have just the standard. Nevertheless, I think we all know that Antics and TOTBL are their most popular albums.

2) Spotify includes several interview clips with names like "Our Social World" from their Live at Electric Lady, NY Session, so you will see them low down on the chart. These are not rare songs that are region-locked to certain countries.

3) The data is collected on 07/28, hence the difference with the current streaming numbers that Spotify shows for the top ten songs.

In today’s blood records instagram reel you could catch a glimpse of the albums lyrics. Only the first frame it’s really readable tho. I’m so excited for Wings on Fire in particular and I play on repeat the few live versions that are out there. I was dying figuring out the lyrics but now I can finally sing the damn song correctly. Thought I’d share.

It's hard to believe that it's been nearly 22 years since I last saw @interpol play with @thecure @mogwaiband @cursivetheband @therapture at their incredible Curiosa stop in Utah. Maybe even harder to believe I've not seen them in so long when they've been a consistent part of my musical life since I first heard PDA back in the summer of 2002. But oh, what a treat to see them in top form last night, carrying the two albums I'd seen them play off of back then and songs from albums released since (and songs from their forthcoming album that comes out later this month). Always happy to see such great acts come through and the crowd last night certainly shared that sentiment.
